Need for Speed: Shift

I've lost faith in the NFS series a long time ago but this has perked my ears.

It really reminds me of GRID(which is a badass game BTW). This just MIGHT have renewed my faith but I can't tell that just yet.

there's another thread farther down that discusses upcoming and recent need for speed games as a whole (including Shift), so i dunno if this is a valid topic.

Shift looks good, but for some reason I'm kinda hoping its not. Need for Speed seems like that one series that some people cared about, but never really stood out. And this looks like its going after GRID and Gran Turismo 5. I dunno how that will turn out.
