It definitely isn't Metal Gear, Zone of Enders, or Snatcher. It's giving off the horror feel, which is what Savage is.

DMC is awesome!! The greatness of the game stems from the fact that while button mashers can progress somewhat, they won't get very far, esp on the later levels. same with god of war.

But the problem with that video is more about how it looks so generic and standard. There's none of the OTT feeling from DMC and Bayonetta and it's not as brutal as GoW.
If that is the case, it needs a lot of work.

Substance/Sustinence/Something @ E3 calls I, if anything. Though neokai's suggestions sound believable too.
It's too early for MGS5. Kojima always does a repeat of the last game with VR training and extra goodies (let me play as Raiden with that sword! It was awesome in MGS2!!!) with a fancy S name, so I'd expect that if anything else. Considering the site's search tags are "metal gear," "next," and there is no tag which suggests "5" or "five."

And let's also consider the fact that MGS is no more. Snake's story is over. MGS4 made it pretty clear of that with its epic finale-ness. Next in line, if anything, would be something like Metal Gear Raiden or my personal favourite, Metal Gear Campbell.

Looks like I can make a fair assumption that a new "Metal Gear" is in production... But it would be "MGS: Portable Ops" on the PSP, which would be announced alongside the "PSP Go" at E3. I've been looking at the teaser site, I got these letter in this order. R, E, S or 5, 6 , S or 5, 3, e, P, C, 0. Thses are just random orders of course. If you try and unscramble some of it you get a PS3, 360 and PC.

Big Boss' beret says "Militaires Sans Frontières" in French it means "Soldiers Without Borders" it could be referenceing Outer Heaven, that and the emblem on his hat looks like the Outer heaven one.

Oh good grief please no excessive cut scenes fer Castlevania >.< I mean it had its charm and place... Castlevania scenes were always short/sweet and cheesy =P There is also the fear that Kojima might over do w/ the flashy excessiveness of the game and difficulty ala Ninja Gaiden as he is fond of doing "hard" games...

Also, I suspect that Rising would chronicle Raiden as he goes to become a scout (talked about by Vamp in MGS4). I remember the teaser site also showed some voodoo weird spiritual shit - I think that has something to do with Raiden becoming said scout or a badass katana master. I find it difficult to believe that its Null in those shots.

His eye colour difference doesn't matter, since maybe he was given bionic eyes that is capable of interfacing with his eye-patch-thingy during the course of his cyborg-fication.

Well, Xbox did have its first chance to join the Metal Gear series with the release of MGS2 Substance which underwent abysmal sales.

Depending on how the 360's second chance with MGS Rising goes, maybe then it will get (downgraded) MGS4.

Highly highly doubt it. Most people who cared for MGS4 already played it on Ps3 (Seriously), and Kojima seems to not want snake to even make an appearance on the 360.
