anyone remember oni?

from what I hear alot of people seem not to like the game, even so I happend to like it, it was a great game at the time. Can anyone tell anything that has to do with a seqeul for it?

Oni was awesome!! I've played through it several times now, it's simply one of the better games I have played. Mind you, I prefer the PC version, easier to control Konoko that way. ....haven't heard anything about the sequel, though that would be nice, huh?

I remember Oni (PC), it was an average game, but then again I didn't complete it because my save game file got wiped >.< ... even though I got quite far, I can't fully judge it.

As for a sequel, I believe Oni was developed by Bungie (http://www.bungie.net), who were taken over by Microsoft. Oni was published and is now owned by Take 2 Games (http://www.take2games.com), who probably don't have any plans for a sequel, as they seem to be milking GTA for all its worth. In short, I'd say it's unlikely :p

hm.... oni for pc was fun but hard ass game.... i think it was an ok game didn't think it was specatular or anything but it was pretty fun beatting up people just the fact that it got supe rhard at the end were u literally run through a battlefield

i bought Oni as a bargain, $5 brand new. played it for a day but then stopped coz it got boring. but it was an okish game.

I played the PC version. Good game, i was enthralled by its gameplay at its time.

Eh. I loved Oni for what it was. It couldve been better. I just wish they came out with a sequel.

name one other game that has pulled off the style of anime so well with out it being japanese.

controls were pretty bad, game was hard. it was a hard game to get into, even if you liked the charas, and the storyline. it looked really good, until you started playing it. i didn't like the game enough to acutally sit down to learn how to play it well. that's prolly why the game got flamed so much.

for an anime esq game, i haven't really seen a good one.. unfortunate.

I liked Oni. I FINISHED the game. It was hard, though. I would keep playing from a save point until I got through with at least full life. I didn't LOVE it, but I LIKED it.

And the controls were only bad unless you edited them in the config file.

The first time I played Oni it was PS2. But the PS2 disk got messed up:mad:. So I got it PC and it was even better than the PS2 version.:D
