Used to play 1.6 for a while.

Got bored of CamperStrike really fast though... 90% of my kills where luck (shot someone in the back), yet I always managed Top 3.

It's like playing a mind game with a twitch factor and luck tossed in depending on what weapon each person has drawn, distance, direction they're facing etc etc.

Which is why I went back to the UT series. :p

In what other game can you take out people with rocket launchers using your melee weapon? :p :D
Now THAT is true balance.

And yes, it is possible, I've done it on numerous occasions. :p :D

Meh, source is still filled with nubs so far. All the good people are still in 1.6. The pros that did convert to source, only play in priv's, no pubs for them. As for the pub play though, its hard to find ANYONE worth a challenge.

But i still defiantely play 1.6, and im starting to get back into it in between FFXI sessions.

I play 1.6 and 1.6 only. I hated source because of the extreme lag. (maybe they fixed this now?)

Yeah, the extreme lag has been fixed, actually that was done over with after the 2nd patch i think.......but still, source isent worth it

I play CS:S. I try to avoid playing 'alone' to keep my addictive personality down, so I'm usually with my RL friend.

The whole game is a joke. I can't take it seriously. I would play Tribes seriously and competitively. CS is just... ridiculous. I go 33-3 or something on a really skilled server. When the other skilled players aren't around, it's worse and I get accused of hacking four or five times in a session. (I guess most people need hacks to shoot 4 people in the back) Despite however much I'm screwing around, I end up leading my team. I lead my team when I go pistols, when I knife, when I use a para, anything. Except the awp or autosniper. I can't use either of those and I don't know why. People don't like it when I choose the scout though...

Seriously, i just got back into Day of Defeat, that game is amazing in how they did it. Its so much more fast paced, and the gameplay is so addicting. And the Warcraft 3 mod for it? Crazy.

i just got into DoD. CS is actually annoying me. well the players. constantly having to be a one man team on a team of 14.....thats not right. its getting repetative. i buy an awp and i bait everyone on my team(btw im rushing not camping) just ot be able to have a chance in winning cause 90% of them suck. then i get banned. over the last 2 weeks i have been banned over 5 servers.

DoD on the other hand....now im having fun learning everything from there. reminds me when i started cs in 1.3. im kinda a nub in what to do but i still lead the pack in kills. only problem im having is people and rushing. NO ONE RUSHES!!! they hold the flags they have currently and are content with that. then when i start rushing to the other flags they follow but otherwise they sit and do nothing.

I'm pretty good at CS but what gets to me is the amount of 'kill seekers' in the game. By this I mean people who will send their teams to the slaughter just to increase or maintain good stats.

Favourite Weapon: M4 Carbine...Silenced :)

I was hooked on CS for a good year and a half while I was at school. My entire apartment got into it...nothing but screaming and yelling across 3 floors, haha.

Eventually most of them moved out, and got replaced by people who either werent into gaming at all, or only played RTS type games.

My fav weapon was the arctic magnum definitely, along with keeping a plethora of grenades handy.

I have CS 1.6. Its all right, i guess. I cant get use to the aiming. It feels like you can shoot through walls. Like, I can see this guy (Hes hugging the corner) but he can shoot straight at me, but I cant see/shoot at him.

And plus people dont like other people using the shield. I love the shield! Feels like im in a movie when im using it. :D
But I usually end up being kicked/ban for using it, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE IT ENABLED. :confused:
