Magna Carta problem!

Hi, this is my first post on Hong-Fire, please help me thank you.

I have just bought Magna Carta on the PC, from www.play-asia.com. (Korean Version)

Ok, everything goes fine when i install the game, but when i double click on the game to make the game run, my monitor or screen turns blue on me and shoe a bunch of words.

I dont know whats the problem thats causing it, My windows is American, but where and how can i find the suited installation to allow me to play the game.

I need help!!! :(

oh ive seen this error or similar to this before...a blue screen and then it shuts down your computer?

maybe you could summarize us what the bunch of words say?

What version of Windows are you using? If XP, you may want to try this: http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/tools/apploc.mspx. It lets you emulate another language of Windows to run a specific program instead of changing all your settings, say, to Korean to get a game working. Just install it and point to the program's exe, then select Korean as the language. I hope this helps... :)

AHHH I tired installing the program you told me melly.

But still it doesnt work, i even tried setting up my windows to korean it still doesnt work for some odd reason i cant run magna carta at all.

i double click on the icon of the game it show me a blue screen.

it tells me like if you see this blue screen, yada yada same old crap.

check for new installed hardwares, which i did, only the game i installed....:(

I think u need to install korean language on ur system.

I've played many korean online games and i had to install those until the game worked perfectly...

Try to D/L the korean pack here (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9CFA419F-F25D-4F9C-B1DC-3EF7C4F1BE91&displaylang=EN)

I don't know if it will work but it might help :confused:

Ok, I tried installing the Korean language pack that manuxxxx said about and I tried changing my whole settings to Korean. However, when I try to run the game my computer just restarts. I would like some help with this problem am I the only person getting this error? And if not, then how can I fix this? Any help is muchly appreciated.

I found out that one of my computers can run it and the other can't although the settings are exactly the same. The only difference between the two are the video cards. Your video card might not be compatible or doesn't like the game.

It does sound hardware related, rather than a language issue.....there's a Magna Carta update patch here, although whether it will help is another matter:

I recommend upgrading... Softmax (i think that's the company... the ones that did War of Genesis..) has a tendancy to make games that are fairly buggy.... WoG3 crapped out on me quite a few times....

Okay I clicked on the Softmax link but when I try clicking on the MCV104.exe update file to download, nothing happens. Can someone host another link for the file where i can download it?
