wow those people in the forum really hammered team ninja. I thought that the screens were good....., but Doa is an awesome fighting game and i always loved the controls and everything more than any other fighting game, so as long as its fun i dont really mind the graphics much,

probably is old stuff, and according to the site, the pics weren't suppose to be shown.

Yes that's Lisa allright. That would explain ehr relationship with Tina. So Lisa is a wrestler too ^^. Anywho I think DOA4 is hot!!. I am not someone who goes whining about it being the same. I am more concernt about the new characters and stages I hope they are good. I am not too sure about Lisa she could suck major. THe kimono girl and blonde guys look hot though.

Are you sure that's a boy? I mean I do see the...ahem..."difference" between him/her and the other women, but he/she looks pretty young, still probably in his/her early teens. Maybe she just hasn't fully developed her breasts yet and Tecmo is finally showing some restraint and sanctioning that part of reality. :rolleyes:

...Or maybe this one's neither. I mean, maybe Tecmo is trying to establish itself as the Wal-Mart in sexual provacation in video games where "everything" gets equal opportunity. Hell, if you can sodomize an elephant with your opponent in Ultimate, don't think Tecmo won't try venturing into androgynism to pump your organ. :p

Anyway, I hope they incorporate more fighting styles this time. They only have 15 or so characters right now (whereas games like Mortal Kombat and Tekken have 30+), and yet already 4 of them use ninjitsu: Ayane, Kasumi, Hayate and Hayabusa, while another 4 uses a grappling centered fighting style: Bass, Tina, Leon and Bayman and 2 use karate: Ein and Hitomi. 10 of them right there with the same fighting styles! That's just redundant.

What's sadder is that characters like Genfu, Christie, Helena, Jahn Lee, Zack and Brad are the ones to break the redundancy, because when a fossil, hag, stereotype (especially Zack) and semi-conscious drunk become the most unique traits in a fighting game, that's when you know your fighting system is getting shallow and stale. :(

Don't get me wrong. I like the DOA series, but I just hope they get more fighting styles in the future.

Well i have them all and will buy this one also because i still hope that they will explain the story some more. some characters have a great story but you only get to see about 2 minutes of it in the game. The graphics don't look that impressive though. But maybe I have to see it in motion.

i have finaly downloaded the high res video and must go to a friends place to watch it (452 Mb) and my pc can't handle it. Is there a lower res version for "normal" pc's. because i find it redicules to buy a new pc just to watch trailers.
But what i have seen of the pictures is that it looks amazing. but if it is not leifang who is she then. Becase she uses the same fighting style as lei fang. Maybe she looks diverent because it is next gen. She looks diverent in doa 2 dreamcast en doa ultimate on xbox.

there is no further information about her yet exept her name "kokoro", her nationality "japanese" (lei fang is chinese) and her "Ba Chi Quan"-style (can't remember lei fang's style)...

Out of all of the new characters, she is the one with the most to tell about, although it is not quite time for me to discuss it at this point.
if you watch the trailer, you'll see that lei fang remained in her usual self.
also i don't see the resemblement between those two ^^

there is no official low-res version of the trailer but you can reencode it if you want ^^ (every winxp has "windows movie maker" to encode wmv or install "windows media encoder")

i think lei fang fighting style is tai chi quan and it looks almost the same i'm revering to the part in the video that the kimono girl "kokoro" is using a grap/throw combo on kasumi it looks like that of lei fang.
