I am a big torrenter. I currently put most of my efforts towards boxtorrents.

why is everyone's intro so short?

-hongfire: what i think
i saw this place a while back, and i didn't have the time to play with it, then i was somewhere and came upon it again, i saw its potential
hongfire only really has potential, boxtorrents is far far far far better, not even a comparison
if you ask i will point out bad points about boxtorrents if it makes all the pro-hongers happier, i want to be liked here, really i do.
but any true anime torrent bigdog knows that this is a relatively small and not so great site

-hongfire: what could make it better
--i want it to be able to easily to see my stats
--i want to be able to see my and everyone elses stats for individual torrents
--i want torrents to be in a nice organized manner

if ya'll ask i will tell you about all the good things on this site, there are reasons i use it, not even boxtorrents can come close to a few features (non-of-which are torrent related)

-ME: about (finally, right)
I love using bit torrent (here come a picture which shows you the freakin TIP of the iceberg)--azureus--
azureus
(i hope inserting these pictures works, just in case i have noted which picture is each)

next picture shows my uploading and else while using azureus, i used to use shareaza, i was very ignorant back then, so much of my dloading was done prior to azureus, well more like about the same amount dloaded now, but alot more uploaded on azureus --azureus2--
azureus2

that is my boxtorrents info
if this place were organized half as well as boxtorrents i would gladly dedicate alot of my bandwidth towards seeding things here

just feel free to contribute whatever you want.
it's not like we're in competition anyways...

Granted, hf is messier compared to box (torrent-wise), but a few of us (if not, most) aren't really here for the torrents. Some frolic for the community, others remain in the gallery, some more people remain in the irc (as well as other hf-related irc channels), and some hang out in the hentai section at all. It's disorganized, yet in a way, organized altogether.

but any true anime torrent bigdog knows that this is a relatively small and not so great siteI have no problems with that. In fact if that is the truth, i would be glad. Popularity isn't the only factor to judge the quality of the site.

Well, just stay whereever you are comfortable with, and welcome to the forums ~

i am glad to hear that people around here have open minds, i almost expected for a few people to kuss me out for daring to make some of the comments i did in this forum

so at the least there are good people in these forums

Hi everyone.
I think as Lisa Hayes

Popularity isn't the only factor to judge the quality of the site.
For me people are more important than torrents.
I don't say that I don't need torrents and so.
The community of HF is the best and this is what I have too say:)
Have fun and be good.

Welcome tyler. i kinda have to agree with you on the fact that it is a bit hard to find what you want sometimes, but strangely, there are (it should be were) some torrents that can be found here that were not present in boxtorrents...

i am just itching to get ahold of some torrents from here
i plan to throw like 5 - 10K at hongfire non-stop 24/7, so i can beat everybody out in stats
if it takes more to win a stats war i will relocate more bandwidth here, i shall be a big player in all the major anime trackers

you believe you know what i am gonna do, but only i know what i am truely up to

hey hey hey,
i just got a new 200 gigabyte hard drive a few days ago

i wish i could download at least a few gigs of anime from here to fill it up, but without the torrent section i am out of luck

stats:
620 gig + 20 gig + 20 gig + 100 gig = 760 gigs of storage space i can use to put anime on
after the distorting factors are taken out, i come to a possible 500 - 550 gigs of anime in the future (approx)
i will have that much anime one day
currently hovering over 300 and some
