anyone know if theres a bt client that lets you program what time you would like a torrent to start and stop?
reason im asking is i have a machine shop, the backup computer is always on to recieive faxes and whatnot i try to have it on 24/7, so during nightime i would like it to automatically start dls and morning stop them so it doesnt hog bandwidth during business hours. im thinking hey if ur gonna leave a comp on all week, might as well have it download and seed anime for you right? -_^ any help would be appreciated, peace

Thats not a option I have ever seen, but windows has the task scheduler that you schedule what tasks you want to run at what time. Just schedule the BT in the task scheduler and your set.

You could cap your speed (all clients should have this), I think Azureus' seeding rules is your best option.

The speed scheduler plugin can do that with Azureus.

I know, cause I'm using it right now.

The new bitcomet allows you to schedule start and stop times for torrents. Edonkey does as well.
