I could connect to rizon and irchighway just fine in the past. But in these last few weeks, I can no longer connect to any of them. they said that they found open proxy on my host and needed me to secure it. but i have no idea how. i've tried following the link they suggested, but i still have no clue. :( i don't remember setting any proxy except in the firefox/IE connection configuration. I though it might because of virus, but after scanning using AVG free edition, I still get banned for the same reason. I reinstall my winxp but it still doesn't help.

please help! I'm losing my main source of eng hgames(there's no way to get eng hgame in my country, Cambodia. So the only way is "that"). Can someone enlighten me on how to secure open proxy? :)

BTW, i'm using CDMA wirless dail-up connection

if you use dial up then, unplug the cable then plug it in again, or you could do whatever as long as it change your current dynamic IP :p that works for me :)

lol, it didn't work. I installed kerio personal firewall over my winxp sp2 build-in firewall, unplug the modem cable (comp suddenly restarted :p) and got new a local IP, but rizon and irchighway still banned me for that open proxy on my host. X_X

well, any other idea?

you will need a new WAN IP not LAN IP to avoid the ban

er... how? I still got the same WAN IP even after disconnected and reconnected.

Its not that your running an open proxy on your computer. Its that rizon and irchighway think that you are using an open proxy. They are both scaning the ip address that the connection was made from and are detecting an open proxy. It might be your ISP.
