I have the Jo figure. :)

I'd have to say that the paint job on Yamato PVC figures in general (I own 3 of them now) are somewhat rough, but it's compensated by very well-proportioned base models.

Compensated by price too. Average PVCs are 40+.

hobbyfan.com is a site that specializes in completed resin kits (saw them at AX2005. Sweet figures). They provide painting on select figures, and might provide the service on that Jo figure. I woudn't hold my breath though.

I've just found a new Jo Figure available on preorder! :)
It's a 1/8 scale pre-painted and pre-assembled PVC figure, produced by Alter and sculpted by Touji Tanaka.

I also have Yamato's Jo figure, and I rushed my preorder on this one all the same! :D

Edit: I forgot to say that the planned release date is mid-november

It'll be released mid-november, meaning you still have 3 months to save up money. ;)

I hope they'll also make figures of other Baku-Ten characters... Meg, of course; but what I trully want to find is a Sei figure! She's just so gorgeous...

You said it, brotha!! Praise da lord!!!! ← (?)

OK, seriously... Although she doesn't seem to get as much attention, Sei rules. I dunno quite what to say about Amy though. >_>

Well, I guess Amy is the lolicon element of the show... :D
She's cute, but not really my favorite character.

I'll just take this oportunity to give my 2 cents about Baku-Ten characters:
- Jo rulez!! Nothing more to add!
- Sei rules too! She doesn't get much attention indeed, however she has a kind of mature charism I can't really explain. Well, she's the granddaughter of a Triad leader after all... ^_^ She's not only gorgeous and feminine, she's also clever and strong. My, she's just my ideal woman! :p
- Meg is nice too, but what I don't like in the serie is that she is mostly given the always-kidnapped-bimbo role. That's a pity and a waste IMO. I wish she could have had a more interesting role as Jo's partner, well, just like you see her at the very end of the last episode.

Anyway, back on topic: be sure I'll praise whoever is needed to get a Sei figure! :D
And thanks for the reps! ;)

- Edit -: I've just discovered that the Japanese DVDs were also released in 4 limited boxes, each containing a figure of one of the girls (cf. pics attached).
My... I would so like it is released like that where I live... :(

You're talking about Alter's Jo figure, right? If so, yes: I got mine quite some times ago.
I received it by the end of november when it's been released. I preordered it @ Animaxis.
Now it's true it has become kinda hard to find. To get it you'll have to either spend a lot on auctions, or to pray for a re-release... :(
