No, you can't scroll. However if you click on an empty map square and use the 3rd option, you can warp your cursor to a character. Really, that's the only way to get around at times. :/

Hold down Ctrl, drag with left mouse button. Closest you'll get to scrolling.

I do know about the 3rd option, but in mission 5, I couldn't hit an enemy at the back of the map (at a high place) because the only one who could had to be either at left or right side, and no matter which way I positioned her, the enemy on the other side couldn't be reached because I couldn't scroll. If I position her right in front of them, the attack becomes out of range. And the skill point requirement was to defeat all enemies but Sayuki...X(

I had the same problem on that stage (assuming this is the real route) and couldn't kill those birds. Turns out the Werk original girl can fly up there and off them. I didn't try with the guy, but he might be able to as well. None of the Tsukihime/Fate characters I had could jump up though. :/

Fortunately Saber or the Werk guy can be used to hold Satsuki in place with a block while Kohaku heals them, freeing the rest to clear whatever needs it.

Thanks for the CTRL info. It's much easier than using the character select. :/

Ah, that blasted map. The next time I play, I'm going to save up Rin's EN. She could reach with her Range 8 special but she needed the right elevation angle.

My real problem was that the game keeps crashing when I try to aim that high... Usually happens when I try to scroll to some really high place too...

I've been noticing that I've been getting a message at the end of certain stages which I presume is the skill point. What exactly is this skill point? Is it a "skill level up" kind of thing for all characters, as in those special abilities which you can 'purchase' with FP?

A skill point is seen is few SRW games, where the more you have, the harder the game gets, and sometimes, you unlock secret units and gain bonus. I think you know, but a skill point is gained by filling an optional requirement of a stage.

Ah, a feature in the more modern games. I've only played SRW 3,EX,4 and Lord of Elementals (Masou Kishin side story). Yeah, makes sense to reward and challenge players who are good enough to kill Fat HP bosses before they run away and other such feats. I take it the skill point requirements are the 3rd thing written on 'mission briefings'?

as for the addons, both the first act and now second act have a small 'download section' associated with them, are those trials for the respective versions? (although for the second act I'm guessing 'no' because the thing is only 3.4 mb)

the first part was perfectly playable on its own.... then they added expansions to it.. just because there are no current expansions, doesn't mean that this is unplayable, it just happens to be somewhat short... kinda, its actually kinda long, lol
