Need help with Rance 6!

God, I'm stuck about halfway through the game, judging by the progress bar.
I'll try to describe this as best as I can.
After using a magician-only party to pass through the blue force fields, and going up the elevators, theres a double guardian boss that hands my ass in two rounds. I read a walkthrough that you're supposed to escape from it. But.... there's no escape function in Rance 6....
And also on the same level, there's stairs leading down to two people, but the game won't let me go down there for some reason.
Anyway, any help for this is much appreciated!

But I am curious, how long did it take you to advance through half of the game and what is your language knowledge and how much did you understand the story.

In this game, only Rance and several charactors can choose "escape"
and it's 戦術的撤退 in Japanese(top Choice).
The guardians are so strong that you should escape as soon as possible.

And about the battle with two generals, you may be able to beet them but there is a time limit like the battle with the general of thunder.

Anyone? :(Hmm, if I remember correctly, this is the Flower Seeing event. You need to change the party into a couple, in other words, choose Rance and only a girl as your party. Just try different combinations.

Only Rance and Tamanegi can capture gal monster
You must use their 'capture' skills during battle.
I believe the capturing success rate is better while the monster is dying

I think Alicesoft wikia already have the necessary information regarding how to get the character and the skills mentioned above

It's been a while so I can't quite remember the details, but it sounds like you aren't at the point where she really leaves.

It's difficult to tell from that screenshot, more so when I can't see the names of the dungeons. Set your locale to Japanese first, please.

He refers a twin tower in the map. I´m struck in the same tower, in the tower have a door, but it still close, near the door have a black star, if you touch the star you will be send back to the map.

I'm moving forward in Rance 6 and playing in a language you don't understand doesn't help again lol.

Could anyone tell me how to pass the twin tower please? I saw a post where Afker told the guy to pass through the ruins but couldn't find any ruins and the only passages to me are:

1. A big guy with 99999 Hp which is too hard for my party (took 75000 around from him but he hits more and more the time pass so...)
2. 2 Guardians in a Black Star that hit too much, they wipe my whole party in 2 or 3 rounds max... (my guys are at lvl 35-40 already and some have A Armor and Weapons already and are easy in every other fights so I don't think this is THE way, right?). I already escaped them to advance the story.
3. A Black Star where the girl with glasses send me back to the map.

There is also a closed door just before the girl but I didn't manage to enter in it.

I post the dialogue with her and "with the door" in case you can help me.

I'll see what I can make out..



1. A big guy with 99999 Hp which is too hard for my party (took 75000 around from him but he hits more and more the time pass so...)

I remember he being the last challenge in this particular tower, where you keep on fighting and then going down through the floor in a kinda circular way pattern, while the road to the next level won't open until you defeat the black-star in that current floor..
The black star also seems to regenerate itself whenever you enter the tower anew.

If it's true, you might want to try and defeat this guy anyway.. I remember the reward items for doing so is pretty nice.. (1 of which being the only one available in the game)
Bring your best paralyze trooper with you (the bug-user girl especially).. and try to keep him stunned..
It might take a while.. but I remember I won without much effort that way.

On the other hand, for the story to progress..
Try 'escaping' from this challenge in any floor you favor.. I remember correctly that you can do so by going to the right in the any of the space where you were expected fight these the black-star..

It is on that escaping path that you will see another road heading to the ruins mentioned before.

If you're on the right track.. I suppose that you'll see a star event soon after entering the ruins area... In which you'll meet a kinda friendly Yankee (the enemy with the baseball bat).. Which is actually, your female-knight friend back at the base camp, turned into that form by the tower guardian.

For (2), You don't need to fight against the guardian.. at least not for now
For (3), I'm pretty sure you're supposed to be able to enter the 'closed door' just before the girl..
If you can't.. Chances are there's something you missed / haven't explored yet in the tower beside (2).
Or maybe you didn't bring Siil (Pink haired girl) with you?



I found some sort of a teleporter too where the ninja girl doesn't let me pass through (tried different sort of team to pass through but it didn't work):

The 'way downstairs' part actually fit the description about the passage into the ruins I mentioned above..

I tried all comps for my team (with Rance, didn't try the combination without him...) to enter the room just before this girl and it still doesn't work grrrrrrrrrrrr

I tried to kill again the big guy with 99999HP but even with my "blocking" team, it seems he's not doable... all my guys are now 40 to 45 but it's still not enough even with two healers.

I found another blocked door near something similar to ruins (walls broken...? :p) but I also can't open it, here is what I get when I try to enter in:

I also tried using agth to get the text and try getting help from babelfish or other but it doesn't get any text from this game, too bad I'm unlucky with this lol (it does work with other games).

Actually I was assuming that the passageway you mentioned are in the other map... oh well..
kudos for trying though.. :p

If you already scouted the whole area available, then I don't know what you're missing here.. sorry..
I don't remember any significant event in the map that should happens before the door become unlocked by itself..
My last bet would be something involving some event at the base camp.. that might have to do with something..
That, or maybe you should finish the other tower first.. :rolleyes:

Define "blocking" team ? O_oa
I know he's though... but it's not like he's immune to paralyzing..
I think I managed to stun him over and over with the bug-girl and Rance Attack easily..
The team's hardly taking any damage at all..

Congratulations!!
by reaching that door.. It's proof enough that you have reached the RUINS area.. The broken walls you mentioned strengthen this point..

If you had met the harmless yankee and fight the female knight, you're already on the right track..

I remember quite clearly that in this ruins area, there are about 2 buildings..
In one of the building.. there's a detached female head which is HIDDEN behind a fake wall..
Try and meet her 1st..

after that, explore the 2nd building, you should have a new chest (or is it star event? can't quite remember) in the 2nd floor..
Get it, and back to the girl..

Repeat the process above until you can't speak with her anymore

She's dead.. you killed her.. :st:

After the whole thing.. the magic elevator in the same building with the head should be giving you a new floor to explore..

It's all goes straight after that..
Blah blah blah.. you got a key..
and now.. you can open the door in the screenshot you mentioned above

Prepare for a possible boss fight before you enter though..
I think this is where you'll fight with 2 Zeth's generals

Before finishing this map.. I still strongly recommend you to finish the 99999 HP guy...
You won't be disappointed with the reward given..

After you finish the map, you might want to try the other tower.. see if anything new has showed up..

If the described locations are not clear enough.. you may want to post the map.. I'll pinpoint the location for you.. ;)

I've read/heard about the speaking head but never found it and I thought the carrot / head period was about to coming...

I assume I couldn't find this hidden wall. During my playtest yesterday, I was looking for hidden walls but it wasn't maybe in the right places.

I'll give it a try in the buildings now, thanks for the info.

For information, I could beat the 2 BIG guards (generals?) but they still rejected me, I was frustrated lol.

I'll give it another try with the big guy, I assume I'm not lucky when speaking about the "paralyze" ability because it triggers once in a while :p

I mean it says Maria has a level cap of 51 but ATM she stopped @ 35 and I had to H her to let her continue. So once a girl reaches the level cap mentioned in the wiki, it's no longer possible to raise her level cap even by h-ing?

Also, Does the girls' level cap only increase if H-ed upon reaching limit or can I fuck them beforehand to raise their cap before they even level up?

Since I didn't maxed a lot of my characters, I can't confirm the level caps stated in wikia.
But judging from your post, then the Wikia quite possibly states the ultimate level cap..

And YES, the character level caps only increased if H-ed or meeting the star-man upon reaching limit.

I didn't care much for the level caps either, just went through the game without paying much attention to which level certain characters reached, but judging from the numbers I'd say the wiki has the final caps.

As for your second question, you can only H someone to increase her level after they reached it, if you do it beforehand, it will not have that effect.

to be more precise: do Papaia's tower first as Magic's "White destruction light magic" thingie will blast you without even a battle. so how do u finish papaia's tower?
This is how:
----contains spoiler-----
1. Remember the room where when u enter the 1st time, there's a ghost-like voice saying hungry? (himojii). If you don't, it's in the same building as the Papaia's elevator that need password.
2. After getting yankee-sanakia back and seeing the ghostly-voice event in that room, access the hidden room which entry is just in the right side of the ghost room's door. There will be a star event and you'll find this girl who asks for food (to be precise carrot)
3. Get the carrot from the other building, the carrot warehouse. There's 2 stairs to identical but different warehouses, so if you bring Karoria you can actually check which room has the carrot
4. Bring the carrot to the girl, get the password
5. I can't remember the order, but basically u go up to see Papaia, go back down, fight Sanakia-body and retrieve the body, ask the carrot girl again (and u'll have to go and get a carrot again) and go back to Papaia's research room to switch Sanakia back, then go to the Mana battery room to a bossfight and Papaia tower clear

Then you can proceed to Magic's tower to spread your seed to her glasses to and complete the tower

After every battle the woman with black face take sp points of 1 of my teem members.
On the map was a green star, i visited it, after was another and another stars, i visited it too.
After nothing has change, in the map 2 stars available, but there are every time here.
One of them is police officer, and another is a priest.
What need to do there?

you're in the right track, she's in Italia. after seeing her a few times, you'll get Sakurai house's key, so go to Sakurai's house (explore it. I can't remember where) and you'll see her again and fight her one last time to clear the mission

note: when you have explored the whole map/whole available map, it's always a good idea to bring Karoria to check the map for star events. Well, in this case you need to explore Italia more

How do you get past the binary code doors in the magic dungeon? I know the code and that you're meant to get it up to five but how do you get this to register? I take it that pentagon off = 0 and on is 1 but simply turning them off and on in order to add up to 5 doesn't seem to work for me.

Leaving the first and third switches on will drop the barrier. Make sure the middle one is off.

No, only Sengoku Rance got english patch, but this is one of the few games (as far as I know) where agth hooks even the menus.
