Yes people, at the moment i don't really feel like anything, it's 6:15 am and i just got out of the hospital... Why do you ask? It seems my best friend got stabbed 3 times in the stomach without any reason... He's currently in the hospital and fighting for his life. It seems he got stabbed by random people when he was quietly walking down the streets. He was never the type that would get into a fight. And for the people who do live in the netherlands, there is no news story item on this. It's the bijlmer(amsterdam) we're talking about. Yes, you have probably heard of it. So it's pretty common, but still i hate the fact that it had to be my best friend... Sorry guys, i needed to tell this or else my tears would never end, i feel a bit relieved..

The shift in wheather such as the constant barrage of hurricanes might be caused by global warming, but the earthquakes were caused by plate tectonics. The continents are continuously in motion and I believe they all move at least 1-2 inches per year from their original positions. I wouldn't be surprised if we find ourselves living in a neo-Pangea. By the way, tsunamis result from earthquakes.

hm, i am one of those that don't believe the disaster occured because a higher spiritual being(s) is trying to cleanse the planet.

but the fact that ruthless people are out there remains.
i could think of nothing that we can do to get rid of those people and innocent people are often victimised.
moreover, the officials are always a second too late to help us (if they care to begin with)

if only everyone could understand and help each other the world will be a better place though i wonder whether or not we're still human when that happens

They use to throw rocks at me just for walking by the street and there's probably 40 kids walking on the same block.. but picked me outta the bunch i wonder why.. got hositplized once when I got hit on the head with 1 too hard. Alot of stupid bs happens for no reason. I hate it. World can be a cruwl place :(

OMG, that's so terrible. Violence these days is so much banalized, so (mercyless) people don't give a rat's ass about others' lives... I live in a violent city myself, where crime is abundant, like robbery and street murders. I've been a victim of "free" violence (I mean, that in exchange of absolutely nothing, started out of the blue) quite a few times, and I'm fed up with it. I think I pretty much side views with Skizzem regarding humans.

Hey I'm from Rotterdam, you should know why it's not on the news. It's the bijlmer, no one cares for the lower incomes. I live near Kruiskade. That's where shit happens, every week at least a few people get hit by gun shots, sometimes fatal. Where are those on the media ? Nowhere man.

Was in Amsterdam two weeks ago for two days of work, and can't help but feel that evertime I've gone there for the past six years the violence (any violence) gets more and more senseless.

Lost a good friend of mine due to a senseless accident in Amsterdam three years ago so I know how the urge to lash out can be overwhelming. So once again I hope your friend gets better and I hope you don't let it get to you to much. Sometimes it's better to think about something else enteriely than let hatred fester.

p.s: Sorry if i sound like i'm preaching, but these things get to me.
