I'm a damn n00b on mIRC and got owned by "Chat ze brainless"
I'm still not fully recovered from the shock that Chat the simple-minded was intellecutally superior than BruceKo the Multi-Cellular and it had pwned my arse all da way from IRC to here
Here's ze moral, if u a n00b at som'n dun go try som'n new until u know it is abosofunkinglutely SAFE...
I was just curious 'bout tis and dat and b4 I figured out mIRC... BANG!!! I got my arse owned.

P.S. still reading the beginner's guide to mIRC, trying to learn the command that makes me pwn "Chat" back :p
I would really appreciate u ppl if u gimmi some useful tips ;)

hehe, its ok Brucey, everybody has to start somewhere. I remember when I had trouble getting used to mIRC too. Once, when I was trying to get some "elicit videos," I didn't know what to do and ended up typing "get (insert the name of the really bad video here)" right in the chat window for everybody to see. I think there were at least 20 "lol"'s that came after that message. ^_^;;

Depends on the bot and the settings it's configured at. You could be banned for 3 minutes to years depending on the person who set the bot... Then again, I'm a mIRC nub too so heck if I know anything worth filling your brain with lol.

where KS or nightvision or antchuck at. Back when i was part of the HF-alliance on ogame nishino set up the bot to kick me and ban me everytime i called her MISTRESS! Ahh those were the times, even set up mirc to shut off when i said that, MISTRESS NISH! Point is some just ban for a few secs while others are permanent. I doubt you did something to get a perma ban, unless you tried to scam people, spam the crap out of the room constantly or was being an ass. Bruce were you being an ass, hmmmm? :p :D

Probably was, doesn't he look like the devilish type to you ;)? I mean look at his signatures! Look at his avatar! They SCREAM REBEL!! (Well maybe not the avatar since I made that and don't have the heart in me to say something as cute as Puchiko is devilish :p)

Seriously, HF mIRC channel should be a bit more lively, so I started to talk to myself sometimes...

I still haven't figured out how I got banned, maybe some mod really hates me and heh modified Chat ban me whenever I talk... well just u wait mods I shall avenger for my blood someday

if i remember correctly, i warned you about spamming the channel,
before you got the ban.
spamming the channel means consecutive postings.
now, i remember you typing "1" repeatedly, 'till you were kicked by Chat.
so you re-entered back.
then, you resumed typing "1" repeatedly again. the second line was a "11", i think.
and the rest were "1" repeated.
now, i don't know why you repeated that, but its foolish doing the same thing that you got kicked off in the first place.
Obviously, Chat banned you for repeating the same offence, (spamming consecutively,in a short amount of time).
The jinx on you, i guess... (or you just failed to realize that in the first place...)

lol :D bruce i know your pain im a noob in almost everything games, IRC, forums and the list goes on i make so many mistakes at hongfire atlone, its not funny just look at every other thread that ive made im pretty sure you will see a relocation warning funny thing is ive never gotten banned before may be because im polite in everything i do :D , as for IRC i stop by once in a while but the program just doesnt work properly for me so i end up just dropping out, but a word of advice from a fellow noob when treading on new soil always alert the natives that your a noob holding a nuke and if you blow them up acidentally your sorry :D .

I am sorry Bruce, but you have been pwned, only, it seems not by Chat but by Shragei. Normally if Chat bans for too long I can take it off, but since it's a ban by oppai-sama, I cannot go against it. I suggest contacting Shragei directly to appeal your case.
