ok here's teh story
my friend just got a new game; Rome - total war for pc
and i tried it and liked it then i asked him to burn it for me then he said ok, then after he tried he said he couldnt burn it because it was encrypted,
ok so my question is, is there any tools that can burn encrypted cds or any way to make a virtual cd in my hd
any reply will be appreciated, ty in advance

Use ClonyXXL to know which copy protection your cd have, then you can use alcohol 120% or cloneCD to burn your game. But be aware, if your CDRW drive is too old, it may cannot copy every protection.

Yeah ,you can use CloneCD or use Alcohol 120% to make and image and burn this image :D
hmm... the clone cd and the alcohol 120% i can find it fr download.com but clony xxl ?, or to look at what copy protection isnt necessary ?

An alternative to ClonyXXL would be A-Ray Scanner (http://www.aray-software.com/). And you need to know the copy protection of the CD because you must specify type of copy protection when you use Alcohol 120% to make a disc image. Beware that Alcohol can't deal with all types of protection. So if the protection is unknown to Alcohol, you might be out of luck.
nvm i found the clony xxl off google (didnt expect that to happen)
and it's still in beta version
and tomorrow im gonna try to make the cd image (im lazy now :P)

bah, the clony xxl link isnt right, as result i used clony xl then wth that i detected the protection type which is safedisc which according to clony xl is a very simple protection system, then i start up alcohol 120% then click on cd image making at the left bar, then i put checkmarks on the skip errors thingie then when it started to make the image, in the log there's a lot of data examination errors, my question is is that suppose to be like that ?

now nvm i got the disc 1 burnt and works, now when i try to detect the disc 2 it says unknown protection type, so i'll now just dl the iso from suprnova and burn them.
