View Full Version : We have... SPOILER TAGS FINALLY
As you notice that
1) My name is in red so quite obvious what I am now (even though before I was considered as one but never had the colour to show for it).
2) We have spoiler tags as my first act to help improve the site better.
Remember that when talking about spoiler sensitive information that you use spoiler tags now so that people who might not want to know some information that might spoil their interest in an anime storyline or what may also cause such an effect that you use our new wonderful spoiler tags.
insert spoiler information here

The community of hongfire.com rules!
Have a nice day.
Thanks goes to Atachi for helping me with the code.
P.S. This is post number 1337 :)
finally it's possible to read
anime threads without spoilers

Very nice. Are there any browsers (version or OS variants) that it doesn't work with?

Well I'm not too sure Blood_Raven but I think:
The red means he's an admin now. You can actually deduce this from elimination. There's mods, donors, and VIP's. The only other category that allows those huge avatars are admins :p.

You absolutely got that right and I used my powers to put in spoiler tags because we needed them :)

Hahaha, I found that funny :D
but yea, congradulations Para on your Admin Powers!
How did you get them btw? the previous admin have an immediate turn for the worse? or, a series of unfortunate events?
It was more like...
Para works behind the scenes to improve the site better ;)
But of course with all my wonderful staff members too
And that Para has been with the site for a very very long time... probably one of the oldest staff members with HF. However with Hongfire afk, it was hard to talk to him about my status on HF but we got a hold of him and so forth.
Very nice. Are there any browsers (version or OS variants) that it doesn't work with?
i remember some really old opera versions
having problems with javascript.. but
it should work with most browsers
my favorite bittorrent client:

YAY! SPOILER TAGS, this can be used to cencor really explict content! spoiler tags are VERY USEFUL..wow..
GOOD JOB i am very happy!
erm.this is a long shot, but i'll ask anwyays......can we allow Flash Files (swf) to be posted in signatures? :) i have the code all ready for it ><
It's nice to know that some of the suggestions are actually
considered and implemented...
Although personally i thought that it will only be implemented in
HF V4

some comments from the writer :P
---
1) spoiler:
- should work in every of the major browsers.
- tested in FF1.5b2 and IE7b1 (can't veryfy other cause i don't have them :P)
- ....i don't want to get into detail now, but i made shure it works everywhere ^^
- why already in HFv3? 'cause a lot members requested it and Para just had to add a custom BB-code, so it was implemented now (that doesn't mean "the more often you request sth, the faster we implement it :P it was just, that this one was a easy task)
2) swf in sig:
no... maybe in HFv4 if we get the auth-process more (or "really") save (swf is a huge security-hole for forums)
haaa... i love DOM-manipulation ^^
this.parentNode.nextSibling....... :P
-edit-
but major credits go to para for deciding "i want this now and not somewhen in the future" :P
