did you just click it & download or rightclick & download?
what browser are you using?
could you point out which torrent? i could try d/l it too and see if it works with me..

i've tried both click/right click, and i'm using IE6. all the torrents i've tried are like this. i downloaded the php file and renamed it to torrent, but i keep getting a connection refused error.

Must be server errors, but I'm not sure... cuz I'm using Firefox and they're working fine. (so its probably IE?)

Maybe it's just a temporary problem since the site was in moving phase. Right now, everything seems fine. BTW, I can save the torrent files and I also use IE.

I am also getting these errors with IE6. Is there maybe some IE setting that needs to be changed?

I also got that error whether I right-clicked and saved, or just left clicked, but the torrent works fine when I rename it to .torrent. I'm also using IE6 on XP-SP2. This is the torrent that had problems for me (http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4065).

I'm having the same problem with IE6. Adding the .torrent thing only works on one of the three torrents I've tried it on. Anyone have any clues how to fix this thing?

i have the same problems too.. but thats ez to fix... when you right click and save target as.. just rename the files and at the end just put .torrent and also, you must save as "all files"...

It's your IE problem. Just go to your IE settings Clean history and cache then it will be fine.

I don't think cleaning cashe helps (I tried that and it's still the same problem). You need to change the file name to .torrent type before it'll work.

Clearing the history and the cache did not fix the problem.

you shouldn't be dling a .php file when you click or right click on the attachment. you should get a .torrent file right off the bat. if you are not getting one then it is either a problem with the seeder (didn't do the attachment right) or your browser acting up.

It seems to be working properly as of last night.
