lol, guess we just assume it was a manga in pictures. Should of read it more carefully next time. Question, is this the official manga of Suzumiya? Or is there a manga(picutures) version.

These are "Light Novels", an English term that the Japanese made up for their books that are somewhere in-between Manga and novels. You can read a bit more about them on Wikipedia:

I have a few JP novels myself such as "Ai shite iru to Itte kure", but I've always wonderered what a Light Novel looks like...

Lol, so these are "light" novels. They're kind of like full length JP novels except they have a picture scattered every few pages and are Anime themed...

Yeah, I can't download vol 8, there is no seed. I downloaded vol1-7 in mIRC but there isn't vol 8 there...

after some digging, I found that there are 2 extra chapters not collected in any manga nor is it release in the mangas... wonder if that is available.

I took volume 8 torrent from tokyotosho, either the seed is gone or the torrent is already removed from the tracker (which is the case with RAW most of the time).

Hi, could someone please seed this.

After a lot of searching I found another unrelated Haruhi torrent that had an unzipped version of the pics and text, but the one seed for that one immediately signed off once 2 other people joined the line.

Hey just made a thread in the downloads section all about the Suzumiya Haruhi novels with working links.

I already tested the links by downloading it and so it should be fine. There should be all 8 novels in there, including cover scans and pictures.
