How Do You Get Your Music?

From the many threads of "Metal" music, and also all the many other genres of music out there, the question is, where do you go to get it?

I always get a few samples of music from P2P networks, like (used to) Kazaa and (now using) Limwire...but I also torrent.

And if I like them, I go out and search for the actual CD's and purchase them...so naturally, I have lots of older CD's, because now, I have no cash...

If you torrent, (if you want) tell us which sites you get them from to help others to increase their own collection!

I use ourtunes. Basically a superfast p2p connection limited to a campus network. Other than that, I usually mooch off my friends' downloads via aim.

I used to use P2P networks like Kazaa, but these days I get all my music through torrents or from my friends. ^_^v

im using soulseek, its a good tool, and u can find there very rare bands..
but sometimes emule or bittorent....

i use soulseek for my music needs it rocks. if it aint there then i use bittorent. i use kazaa lite revolution only when i cant find it anywhere else.

I use eMule and BitComet for stuff like programs and games, but when it comes to music (individual songs anyway), I stick with LimeWire.

I'm actually *the* minority who buys his music. I only download what I can't find in the stores or is simply not available in the US (Jpop, anime/game OST, etc.) I pretty much only listen to metal (all kinds) and alternative, I usually download a couple of songs from the album and if I like what I'm hearing, I buy the album.

Music that I can get off iTunes I buy,
Anime and game musics I get from two main web sources (one http, one ftp).

I find songs are really too small to use torrent on, I don't particularly like any other P2P program, and I don't download albums because in reality, out of the 20 or so songs downloaded I only really like 2 or 3.
