Whats you guys, Angriest Gaming Moment Well = i know everyone isnt perfect at every game but have you ever had one of those moments while playing a game where you try, try, try and yet still get owned countless times and so you do something to get rid of that stress.
My Angriest Gaming Moment was when i was trying to beat Sephiroth in FF7 he killed me exactly 53 times in a row i was crying and talking to the game to let me beat him yet i kept dying so i took my FF7 out of the playstation and Threw it at my apartment Dumpster :D

Shinobi PS2.
Finding out that you can chain kill multiple enemies to kill bosses, on the demonic butterfly stage with all the lava. I perfected the art of running around the stage, dodging everything and beating it after like 10 goes of whittling down it's health.
Then on the next boss, accidentally instant killing it. Not too happy...

FFX-2...
Beating Bevelle 100 level dungeon. Continuing with the story. Forgetting to do something for an extra 0.1% and the last save was before doing the 100 level dungeon.
****! Did I mention that 100 level dungeon is a part of the 100% needed to get the real ending?

Putting tons of memory card losses apart, some of my hardest moments was to beat Breath of Fire III's last boss Mirya for the first~third time, since it was one of my first rpgs to get so far, i didn't leveled up much, and i was at ~30 lvl. not that it was the only problem, i just didn't have enough dragon crystals, and the only good one i knew was the mamoth, besides the others wich she could kill me in a single turn. and the mamoth happened to be weak against bad status, skill wich she uses often... end of story, after some hours into a single fight, i get poisoned/confused, and a lot of times paralyzed, by the bitch, and...
Anyways, after that, i learned not to hit my head against the wall out of angry ever again... and that all low level status charms are useless...
oh, and there was breath of fire dq on ps2 too... but that's another history...
Nowadays i got used to getting screwed up on games. All thanks to Etrian Odyssey, the best ds training game. I often get "foe'ed" every corner i go, wasting another 2-3 whole hours of my meaningless life...
Most people dislike getting owned on games, but i really enjoy it, because when you look back at it, its more fun/tragical to remember...

Such a good thread topic!!!! Heres mine...
4) Nighshade - PS2...normal diff...last 3 levels...OMG!!!...most frustrating task worth accomplishing...Shinobi had its moments too...like the last boss...
3) Star Ocean...PSX...I got to this part where all the monsters were way above my level...and I couldnt skill up on regular mpc's...I never beat that game...
2) Metal Gear Solid III: Subsistance Online for PS2...............GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!....OMG!!!!!! RD Clan????!!!!!....I HATE ALL YOU GUYS....SO MANY CHEATERS!!! SO MANY GLITCHERS....SO MANY S**T Talkers...my blood is boiling just thinking about it...A guy on my own team killed me because I said "Sup Doods!" when I joined the room...he said some terrible F U stuff and called me an idiot over the mic...so I made my character punch him once and said calm down...then he stunned me...then he teabagged me...then he stunned me again (this waste a grip of time) then the TK'd me over and over again...just for one little punch for him cussing at me...for saying SUP DOODS....I hate that game...auto aim was wack too...so wack...
1) ...BFII.. battle field II...PC...I love this game...but sometimes when I shoot the guy first...his head will flex from the rounds hitting his head...and he will turn around and instantly kill me...like you see the first tracer go straight into your face when he wasnt even looking your way...aim bots...I still love that game cuss of punk buster...

Ahh you guys are oblivious. Final Fantasy VII giving difficulties? Bah. Let me tell you all nothing was more aggravating than us old timers who gamed like mad during the NES/SNES era. These titles boasted some of the hardest games to date and make today's games seem like cakewalks.
http://gngseries.retrogames.com/gng3/gng3main.jpg
"Super Ghouls n' Ghosts" - nuff' said, but for kicks, I'll elaborate: You have to play through six insanely hard stages. Before the last boss the princess you save tells you she "dropped" an amulet you need to defeat the last boss, so what does the game do?.... It teleports you to level 1 and makes you fight your way through ALL six levels again to make you pick up the amulet the stupid princess dropped! There are no passwords or save files -- if you die and if your continues are up, game over, back at main menu. I never could beat the game -- I had to download the ROM and an emulator and cheat my way through it.

Most frustrating game moment would be having Drakengard 2 ask to format the memory card to save, accidentally hitting yes, and realizing I just killed every save I had ever accumulated on that memory card.
Back to the SNES era, the final boss in Inindo. I was fairly high level, had the best equipment, and did no damage whatsoever. Well, one damage. Leveled up for an hour, and...one damage. Basically had to luck it out with critical hits, which did not happen often enough to make it fun.

One of San Andrea's Zero missions where you have to fly a stupid RC airplane and kill delivery people who are like thousand miles away from each other AND land the stupid thing on the starting point without getting it blown up ON a limited fuel. On top of all that, we got Zero's annoying voice giving you unnecessary advises.
Everytime I failed that mission, I would think to myself, why the f*ck can't CJ just walk on his foot and gun their asses to death? Instead he has to fly a stupid toy plane to kill them. Good lord.

Yea almost as annoying when you playing on a big map with a small number of people. Seem like I spend half the match just looking them only to have them run up behind me and kill me or is camping in an area that I walk through.

Never really had any problems with RPG bosses but the last game which had me cursing the screen was dead or alive 4. The game felt just so incomplete, that I questioned the point of playing at times. You know something is up when the CPU performs an infinite combo on you or does the counter animation before you even finish inputting your move and STILL manage to pull off the counter!!!

Hmm...when my older brother damage my Ps2 (accidentally:st: ) when he lost an online game at SOCOM and literally grab my ps2 and throw it at the wall. Yea...let's just say I got very piss because I spend alot of money on it. Didn't get another Ps2 (silm version) till few months ago for 70 dollars.
For games, lost my memory card for Ps2 which contain all my save games that I play (games like FFX (100% complete with all the side quest done), Metal Gear Solid 2, Gran Turismo 3 (90% complete...), and more. I was crying like for a week because of that.

oh, i remember this sat/psx game i used to play when i was a kid, called "Waku Waku Puyo Puyo Dungeon Dungeon Expert"...
yea, the name tells you everything, besides being amazingly weird...
it was a generic dungeon crawler, altough it was really cute... it was extremely hard... monsters used to deal massive damage, didn't knew what itens to use (jpn names, and itens wouldn't cure much), and i might add the game _deleted_ your save once you loaded it (i think azuredreams also did this), not leaving anything like a quicksave, iirc... the farthest i could go was to the third dungeon...
oh good old times... games nowadays are way too easy...
@johnblade: ouch, that's why i always keep my saves backuped on my computer... no one knows when it is going to corrupt some data again...
i used to accidentally pull my consoles to the ground (atari, nes, n64, psx, all of them ^^) so i learned to try to place them somewhere i wouldn't be able to accidentally pull it, nor to grab and throw it...
@dljesse: freebird isn't that hard on expert, really. i passed it on my second try using the dualshock2. try going for "jordan, the light that blinds, or six" using the ds2 for uber ownage... any other song is doable without the guitar...

My angriest gaming moments
01.- The "Blackout VS Ironhide" level in Transformers the Game, it's an "impossible" stage, Ironhide can destroy you with two shots, and it's guarded by hordes of robots, i wanted to throw something because of that!
02.- When i finished Triggerheart Exelica in Arrange Mode, i expected to see a special ending, but when i saw that the ending is the same of the arcade mode only with a pic with the word "Congratulations!!" (http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s186/SturmvogelPrime/Faintear18.png), i said "What The...!!??", and i almost wanted to smash my PC (i was playing in a Dreamcast emulator)
03.- The bosses Tiamat and Albedo from Xenosaga Episode I, really annoying.
04.- The "Big Hand" stage in F-Zero X, most difficult and frustrating stage.

Yea, but at that time, I only bought one memory card for myself and put it in my room so I don't forget it where I put it. I think I have 10 different game save in that memory card. Man.....put so much effort in those game to get 100%, you can say I am a nuts (Gran Turismo 3...I spend one whole month in the summer to try to finish every track in that game). People who play the games I play to complete everything know my pain very well.
Another story come from this is my best friend (who have a quick temper). He plays games also and don't like people to disturb him when he is playing metal gear solid 2 or resident evil 3 or so on. Then one day (like 3 years ago), his younger brother play a trick at him (it's was on April 1....April fool). He delete his save file of ALL of his games he play on his memory card but he did save it on his. Man....let's just say the next day I found out that his younger brother have to go to the hospital with a broken noise and a dislocated arm.
The moral of this story....Don't fuck someone on his/her game save. They will found you and they will hurt you.

My Angriest moment actually turned out to be a joke around my place...I was beating Sephiroth on FF7 just fine untill he got to the second transformation...he had a kind of status effect spell and i told my bro "no problem, barret over here has got dispel"...only to discover I forgot to materia on the dude...my face turned blank...I got killed...and Im still getting over the trauma...
I got rather displeased while playing Kidou Senshi Gundam Seed Destiny: Rengou VS Zaft II Plus on my PS2, the reason being:
- Its hard to control your own movements at crucial moments
- Enemies have an ever increasing amount of credit gauge during Arcade Mode
- Enemies knows when to duck and counter exactly and becomes better at it when you advance
- Allied AI is horrible at support, even why you specify them on what to do
Other than that, a PS1 Strategy game called Hoshigami gave me a hard time and I nearly gave the game off to a close friend of mine until I've miraculously won the mission.

CS...storm a room, kill 7 ppl and then die to the 8th...who then camps and kills the rest of my team...OMFG that really pisses me off.
Having enemy spawn next to me during BF
rpgs havent given me much problem, its playing with other people that get irritating.
angriest moment i've inflicted on someone is in Quake2, Opponent spawns in front of me twice, die, spawns at the next spawn point near by, dies, then again to the first spawn point and then at another one nearby for 5 kills.
He forfeited the match right then.

There is 1 mission in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas called Supply Lines...
I remember I tried 10 times and finally killed the five couriers. And suddenly, THE NERD Call Me To Fly back his bloody toy plane back to his base. WTF, I only have enough fuel to fly for another 5 sec. I quited the mission and NEVER ever Wanna touch it again. Anyone who can finish that mission without a single bit of sweat must EARN the TITLE of ""PRO-GAMER"".

Moments that pissed me off?
pretty much any fighter, computer is a sad cheap entity that only reads your controls, for those that problems with this the trick to not take action until you have to, keeps the computer from reading your input.
pretty much shooters, the computer head shots you from anywhere, yeah bet i could do that to if all i had to do was think it.
games where i have to race like 10 freakin laps to prove that i'm better than the computer when i know i am(forza 2 and yes i drive with all the helps stuff off)
again fighting games with counter systems, ever played soulcalibr 2 with max hard level, the match was nothing more than a counter fest between me and the ai
players with no sense of honor, i am fortunate that i don't play online but even so there is always console play, case in point when i was playing with my bro some years back, the game was 007 nightfire multiplayer, there was this missile launcher that you could move the missile around after you fired it, well my bro exploited it, he caught me in this area where i kept respawning and he kept killing me over and over, i did not quit right away, showing my superior skills i actually downed one or two missiles with the pp7, anyway in the end i got pissed and turned off the damn console, had it been me i would have let him go as i don't see what there is to prove by just attacking someone who can't even run.

Which ending did you get? the one where you accept the proposal or the one where you rejected it?
I'll admit the accept ending was pretty poor but the Rejection ending was ok and it fit in with the rest of the story. Given your choice, you don't really expect any kind of grand finale.

Monster hunter freedom- this game makes you wanna scream with rage!!Makes you wanna enter the game and strangle the beasts yourself!I was fighting a Khezu(the reason why i still ain't on HR5 and the wyvern i hate most) in a HR4 mission,no matter how many times i try to stab that thing i always get killed.I stab 100 times,Khezu shoots lightning, you die.Oh come on like if a hack at the face doesn't do nothing...I was so mad i grabbed the UMD and threw it like a shuriken, good thing it hit a pillow had it been a wall...and i still don't play it because of that mission tho all wyverns are cheaters in this game.
Guilty gear XX(don't remember exactly what version it was)-so yeah here i was with Zato tearing through survival mode, reached lvl80(i think) to fight gold chipp, the fight was even until the defective joypad broke one of the directional buttons, computer takes advantage by using an insta-kill move and since the button to defend is the one that broke he kills me and there goes the chance to get the gold versions of all the characters. So what did i do?Grab the case that contained and started the kicking fiesta!!
Last bronx-to get the alternate weapons, you had to beat it on hard and there was always one obstacle Lisa,on level 6(if she was like that, i don't even wanna know about the boss, Redeye). This just begged to enter myself in the fray and let her have it! but since i can't do it.I just left the game for good.
These are (i think) my angriest moments besides the obvious game freezes SPECIALLY on rpgs

Tekken 5- Fighting Lee over and over again since it is one of the characters Lei Wulong is weak against, the things that come out of his mouth every time he pulls off a move and pressing start when you got your a$$ kicked for two rounds really makes one throws the controller across the room.

Uhm... You must suck pretty bad at the game then; If you have your characters around lvl50 (which is kind of normal at that stage of the game), then all Sephiroth's forms go down easily with one casting of Knights of the Round and miming it twice...
Do yourself and your nerves a favor and don't play any of the older Final Fantasies.

I'm DojoFreaks bro(revelation!!) while it's true that they were easy. The problem is that he cast wall before we did Knights of the Round,of course, that meant half damage of the spell and we only mimed once in that battle. Also he did the Heartless Angel(makes all characters hp go to 1) and Pale Horse combo(hits all characters).
So yeah that sucked greatly.

-Getting to the final boss of Dodonpachi (first loop) down to a sliver of health, and then losing my last life.
-Doing the same thing in Ikaruga
-And ESPgaluda
-Bloody shooters =D
-Playing psychic AI in fighting games.
-A couple of the cheat codes in Goldeneye induced quite a bit of rage ^_^
-Finding the fatal glitch in Psi-Ops, the hard way.
-Finding the fatal glitch in Twilight Princess the hard way.
Video games made me a lot angrier when I was a little kid and had more of a temper and less patience. I can't possibly recall anything specific though =/

Basically any time that I get killed because of interference, like lagg, crash, whatever.
Ticks me off every time.
But I guess the time I got the most pissed off that I can remember, was when my PS2 memory card died.
Those saves.. *snnf*
That hurt way more than when my PS2 died.
At least I know the save's still there this time.

I just had one moment today on Rome Total War. Playing as Selecluid I was in the process of taking the city, on a routine siege. I had a chariot unit who had just taken a few causalties. A weaken and low moral enemy phalanx unit headed toward them but was still far away (game distant). And then just out of the blue the chariot goes crazy and run amok. Normally I don't care but rather than run amok on the enemy they ran amok through my own troops. The chariots ran down a street killing all but 2 of my horse archers and killed over 100 of my reserved levy phalanxes. THe battle was still won but that has got to be one of my angriest game moment.

It always angers me in RPGs when the story forces you to lose a battle without letting you know that you're supposed to throw the battle.
I.e., the enemy character does 500 damage, and I do ten; Being the obstinate fellow that I am, I level up twenty more levels retrying the boss all the way, only to find out that the enemy is infinitely powerful and could probably survive a nuke to the head. Or two.

PFFT YOU GUYS ARE NOOBS...
the worst times of my LIFE were when i was playing SUPER MARIO for the super nintendo.
that game was ass. it was fun, but it was ass. if you died and had to continue you had to start ALLLLLLLLLL OVER to get to bowser.
but then again, super mario for the super nintendo wasn't close to the amount of torture the first mario on the nintendo gave me.
"WHAT THE FUCK!! DAMMIT! THAT STUPID PIT FALL IS BARELY JUMP-ABLE!"
"WHAT?!?! I DIDN'T EVEN SEE THAT HOLE! AND I DIED!"
yeah i remember those days... i've never really played any game that has frustrated me that much.
Just playing any fighting games.
Im more of the casual gamer, pick up a good FPS or Driving Game and just playing.
Having to actually work at getting moves, timing etc right on fighting games and contunally getting my arse kicked just wound me up so i've stayed away from fighting games since i was about 15.
Oh, biggest annoyance is when i played my brother on Tekken or something and he just get me with one move then volley me with the same move evey single time to finish me off. Frustration was off the charts.
The only bonus is hes sitting right next to him so a little fight was always to follow.

This was a long time ago, but I was having problems fighting Rubicant in Final Fantasy II for the SNES, as he kept killing me over and over again so in frustation, I got up and slam the front door shut at my aunt's house, and ended up shattering the glass in the door.
and I also get quite angry while playing Dead or Alive 4, since I'm not very good at fighting games but love the Dead or Alive series.

One of my angriest moments of gaming was actually today. well today being yesterday i because i havent gone to sleep yet. anyways was in Skate. For a photo shoot i had to jump up on a cargo box and manual across it gap on to another cargo box and manual across it with out touching with all 4 wheels would of been easy but the timing needs to be right other wise you dont make it. took me half an hour before my anger boiled over threw my controler on the floor and the gray part on it poped out on one side.

an Arena match we had my team and me, we were begining and our HEALER D/C so we were like WTF, he then reconects fast but the damn arena system kicked him out so we were the two of us, and hell we decided to leave, i smashed my punch in Anger against the table.
the other one was more enfuriating, we were in a arena against a druid a warrior and a hunter, i kill the hunter, then the warr and druid remain, they kill one of my team mates, then its druid-warr vs druid-rogue, i figth and kill his druid, and the warr kills my druid, then he is full health and im half, i dont know how i enter seed mode and we fight and i lower him 4%, and im 6%, and for some fucking reason i was without cooldowns and he then did a charge and MS strike and killed me, it was so close, i smashed my fist against the fall and yelled!!!! grrraaaahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, i was loud, and was 4am, rofl...

One of my angry gaming moments (among many) was playing ten to fifteen hours at Final Fantasy Tactics without saving, then encountering that damn 23 monk battle on Grog Hill and dying. I went on a large FFT hiatus after that.
And Mega Man was always known to be a difficult game before they introduced that weaksauce known as the X series. Mega Man was born and died on the NES.

Indeed. They're kicking a dead horse.
Also, FFT. Save. Holy shit man, save!
Heh.. I remember when I was at the end of KOTOR, and I tried to save, only to find out that in the process of saving, it realized I didn't have enough space on my HDD, and corrupted the save.
And when I tried alt+tabbing to delete something to save again, the game crashed.

My worst gaming moment was.... you know .hack serials?
I've played from the first up to the fourth series and about to face the final dungeons... and... the unexpected happens... My memory Cards went MIA... I don't know why and how but it's gone... I was so pissed off at that time and nearly tear down my whole house upside down to search for it... but... it is gone and I can't find it.... :rawrrrrr:
So... I wasted nearly more that 140 hours of playgame and a lots of precious save data was lost such as ROTK X, FF X, Way Of the Samurai 2, etc... I was so sad then and haven't touched .hack again untill now that the .hack roots series come out I tried to replay .hack...

My most recent one happened while playing Elder Scrolls Olbivion a few days ago. It took me like 30 minutes to kill this one bitch armed with a glaive who kept on combo power striking me to death before I could get close enough to whittle her health with my hammer. After futilely spending ala a dozen reloads trying to use the disarm attack on her, I decided to lure her out of the fucking cave and only when the guards near Anvil drew away her attention, I've managed to splatter her with at least a dozen poison potions from a distance until she dropped for good (but not before she managed to kill off 3 guards). Holy shit. She wasn't even a boss, just a stock marauder enemy.

I think mine was a session of City of Heroes, my group had just got to the end of a dungeon crawl, we were taking a break before the boss and somehow my friend lets off so many effects on screen it crashed my old rinky-dink PC, I must have opened up the dictionary of swearwords and screamed them all in the space of about 5 seconds.

Ugh... i was afraid to fight anything cuz i was so damn weak and had no potions or anything.. which.. my anger got me.. i was 13..14 at the time.. and scratched up the disc... which wasnt mine........ yea... thay helped tho....

That would be Fienal.
It can be a pretty frustrating dungeon if you're weak, but it's really not that hard.
It's actually pretty short. When you save at the final save point in Fienal, you can access the secret dungeon.
Now THAT is a hard dungeon. 5 billion floors, really strong enemies and a nigh unbeatable boss.
I've beaten it. Took a while.

Mines was FF10 when I kept getting beaten by the 3rd Seymour.
Another time when I was younger was when my brother was playing FF7 trying to beat Bizzaro Seph. He was a idiot back then cause all our guys were level 99 with an assload of materia but my brother's stubbornness thought the best thing to do was massing summon attacks. The most we ever did was destroy one arm, and still to this day we haven't beaten FF7 :(

OK... I game it a lil too much recently so heres mine this season....
1) Call of Duty 4: Multi-Player PC: martyrdom...you shoot a guy and he falls with a live grenade ready to go....it kills people like me who dont camp every time....i hate it..they need to fix it with the next patch. Its funny cause all people call it newb, but most people use it...that and the grenade launcher of newbality.
2) Ghost in the Shell: SAC for Ps2:...kinda hard when you put it on extreme, it takes a entire ammo clip to kill one guy, and hacking the guys brains is next to impossible, the hacking mini game puzzle just goes haywire...fun game though, highly underestimated it before i played it.
3) Need for Speed Pro Street: PC: I YELLED OUTLOUD when i finally got a Porche and fully upgraded it with all my money, then slammed it into a wall at 150mph with no more "free repair cards"....GAME OVER...danmit
4) COD4 again: ...funny killcam shots make me angry as hell....like when a guy is one last stand, and his kill cam of you shows him snipe 3 guy from long range with a pistol, with that quick precision then you happen to be the 4th guy....AIMBOTS N HACKS...people who use these ruin gaming experances for people who take it seriously...i guess thats the intent.
5) Last Blade II : neo geo (neo rage) : ...is the last boss literally God?...I cant touch him...every time I try to beat him, i get close the first round, then get smashed the second round...ugggg
6) Artificial Girl III: PC : ....lol, when you play it for real (no trainers/monitors) and finally get to see some H-scene action....and you personally react to the H-scene....then it gets cut off short by another girl with strong intuition walks in the room...and you personally didnt finish up...and you dont want to chase the girl around to the next room and try again....it just pisses me off, plus its the leading cause of "blue ball" according to doctors.

I can relate to these two games.
COD4:3 ppl kill a guy, victim has martyrdom, kills 3 ppl.Radar acquired without too much effort.
Last Blade II:lol i remember the Last Boss who i even ranted on another thread (http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showthread.php?t=64805).Kouryu a boss that shall never be forgotten.I only beat him easily with Okina and Mukuro the rest were hard to win.I mean ,after all, he had lots of supers the worst being the time stop.Hell the supers weren't bad, what was real bad was his projectile. It hurt like hell, was fast and could be delayed.
Now i'm playing Monster Hunter freedom 2 which is worse than its predecessor. Not for ppl who easily give up and i mean it.This game tests your resolve.

COD4 on veteran mode did not make me a happy gamer. I swore so much playing through the game on this mode because nothing is more infuriating then an enemy with a non-sniping gun killing you from a distance that might as well be in the next town over. Speaking of which, veteran mode also loves abusing random bullet fire where bullets kill from directions that you know there are no enemies in. :st:

I second that, if you want to be competitive don't "waste" your time on games there are many different things where you can compete and get something for it in contrast to getting a high score in a game just to push up your own ego.
Games are made to enjoy nothing more nothing less... Well there are some exceptions(Korea and Starcraft).

I play offline console RPGs trying to complete everything I can for the sense of accomplishment and I don't look at it in that way at all. Last one when I reset when memory card still reading, I do it purposely cause it take so long to load (about 2-3 minute) no game would reading memory card that long, so... u know what the end of my memory card.....

The Sephiroth fight in KH1 was easy.
It isn't the first one or two tries, but the third or fourth should be easy if you paid attention.
You can go through the entire fight without being hit even once if you've got his patterns down.
You can even interrupt his soul harvest attack.
Same with the KH2 Sephiroth fight, but I didn't find it as easy to analyze.

playing multiplayer on halo 2 and spawning right in front a headshot... not once... not twice... 4 times in a freaking row... what a pain in the ass... (then i took the sword and went beserk on thier asses and won :) )

Doom 3 True Survival mod, dunno if you guys ever played Doom 3 or that mod, but I would scream I'd get so frustrated! I mean a simple zombie-security guard with an smg could kill you in like 3 seconds! The shotgunner guards are even worse, their blasts literally can send you flying across the room doing a ton of damage, and what's even worse is that in the right place, getting shot by one of them can actually throw you off a platform to your death! ARRRGH! I get angry just thinking about it! Oh man, and don't even get me started on the chaingun commandos, holy crap...
Chaingun Commando
http://guidesmedia.ign.com/guides/14934/images/doom_03_b_17.jpg This badass mutated freakazoid zombie commando can mow you down faster than you can say: "OH SHIT!" Even with full armor and health, his gun will shred both down to 0 in just a few moments!
Zombie Security (shotgun)
http://www.doomwadstation.com/bestiary/comparison/img/shotgunner%281%29.jpg This scary looking dude can quite literally blow you away, and in the process shatter your armor, and blow a hole in your chest at the same time! It's also just unfair how fast they can shoot their shotgun compared to yours. I mean they don't even have to pump/reload it at all!
Zombie Security (SMG/assault rifle)
http://www.bander-inc.com/assets/doom3/slipgate/zsec.jpg
Like the Chaingun Commando, this guy's gun can tear you apart in seconds. I think he is actually the deadlier one compared to the Commando, because he'll sometimes chase you down if he can and even sometimes fire at you in the process! Luckily you can tell if he or a shotgunner is around somewhere because you'll hear distorted static and radio chatter.
WOW! I never thought my first post here on HongFire would be this long and detailed! XD I feel like I just had to share my thoughts with you guys. lol

I once completely owned the crap out of Pokemon Gold. I got bored of it and figured, "Hey it'd be fun to start all over" and promptly restarted the game.
It was about a second later I realized my huge mistake.

I spent FOREVER to get the 'pole-dance' ticket in Dead or Alive Extreme2.
Finally got it. I was stoked! I let the pole-dance sequence start and I started setting up my computer so I could 'capture' the sequence.....
After it was done. I went back into the inventory so I could 'use' the ticket and start the pole dance over........
GONE!...ONE USE ONLY.

Since i thought it was a remake,i purposely got KO'ed at the SS,but when i entered the place again(the dock, not the ship) the SS promptly left...i turned my GBA off then on immediately, and it told my THE SAVE DATA WAS CORRUPTED...
Safe to say the cartridge didnt survive the flight out of the van i was in.....

Same thoughts here, if you get nailed with a preset 10 hit combo two or three times the round is over.
As for Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, the ultimate ninja missions are really a pain.

I was playing this RPG on (forgot title, was really long ago) as i said i was playing this RPG for the whole day so i saved my game before i went to bed. The next day i tried playing again... damn somehow the game didnt save. Wasted the whole day.. pissed like hell for the whole week before i could bring myself to play again.
Not much of anger, but rather disappointment. I was playing Baldr Bullet, at the point where the character fights a big badass mech. According to the game plot, I'm supposed to lose to it, but I guess I was good enough and brought its health to zero. Well, guess what? This thing continues to roam around and shoot at me! Dammit, the coders could've done a better job at keeping the game in line with the story regardless of the battle outcome. Sigh...

older games are harder than game of the post n64 era
Well I can remember my most recent angry moment.
In Tales of Symphonia 2 (Wii) I was on side quest searching for the last of 4 chests. Well it was a bit difficult and the level of monsters were high, but I defeated them one by one, I got many important equipment and spent about 1 hour to get to the last chest. Oh, and being a side quest it means without saving. When I get the last chest I had to defeat 4 monsters that were really difficult. When I was fighting against the last one he started to use magic for not suffer any hurt for a time and so, and when his life bar was about at 25% he just raped me... Well, that wasn't the angriest thing, cause, being a side quest if you don't finish it, you can't repeat it. And that was the angriest thing ever!!

Well i always have angry moments while gaming especially playing COD:MW2 its so freaken annoying how people start using tubes and shotguns meaning that they can't handle a gun and for those on xbox360 you call agree with me that its hard to find a host that won't make you lagg if you live in australia. Oh another angry moment for me was also on LEVEL 5 games they have the most hardest and difficult games to finish but the story lines for them are the best.

I remember one time around 10 years ago I was playing Final Fantasy 8 and was near the end I finally beat Omega Weapon and then the power went out before I could save.

I'm gonna chime in and say anytime I play MW2. Really, that's the only game that's ever truly made me rage. Some are just plain frustrating, others have made me curse and turn them off (I'm looking at you Ninja Gaiden and half the NES games in existence), but MW2 is the only one that makes me want to bite the disc in half.

The sniper level on veteran in modern warfare really pissed me off. Its probably the angriest moment I've had in single player gaming. CoD games seem to piss me off the most. Nade spammers in CoD and that javelin glitch in MW2 are probably my angriest moments in multiplayer gaming.

I'd have to say Jak and Daxter 2.
It was the part where you were in the rich section of the town and you had to take a car with some of the resistance or something.
:dunno:
Well what you had to do was just gun down missiles and shit coming at you otherwise yer' ship would be destroyed. Now they weren't very specific on what you were suppose to do so for about five tries I shot at the incoming stuff and the soldiers around me but they never died or blew up midair.
After many tries I found out I wasn't suppose to shoot at them but shoot at these floating circles which weren't close to the targets at all...
Even after figuring that out I wasn't able to finish the mission and I eventually quit the game before finishing that ONE FUCKING MISSION!

Mortal Kombat II. OH MY FREAKING GOD!! whatever I did, my brother automatically counters!! It was like he was reading my mind! He only enraged me more by laughing as I cursed at him and told him to stop looking at my finger movements on the controller! As soon as I would kick, he would trip! as soon as I would teleport, he would be ready, as soon as I shot at him, he would already be in the air jumpkicking me. As soon as I leapt backwards to get away, he would already be in the air, kicking me in the FACE!!! I broke at least 12 snes controllers playing that game against my brother. My dad finally had enough of my bitch-ass yelling, cursing, and throwing the controller against the ground that he gave away the snes to my cousin T_T.

Mine is from years ago, Original Shinobi on the Sega Master System, One of the end bosses was several rows of spinning columns coming towards you, each seperated into 3 sections and each section taking 3 maybe 4 shurikens. They constantly edge towards you and you had to dispatch every section before they reached you and crushed you...
And then you had to fight this head thingy that had a tiny weakspot -_-

haha, Most definately. So many games back then that were terribley annoying and so difficult. Stryder, Altered Beast, Donkey Kong Country. They make todays games look like a walk in the park on a summers day! I find games these days have specific ways to accomplish them, where as back then, it was more about reflexes and timing, and sometimes you needed luck more than anything else lol

Earthbound (snes) - couldn't find a mob/boss (some alien thing in a cave) in the game. Spent days looking and nothing. Had to return to blockbuster eventually. Months later, decided to rent again and somehow managed to find it.
Street Fighter 2 - pain in the ass trying to kill Bison. Also aggravating when other ppl spammed the slide move.
Ridge Racer Type4 (psx) - Trying to get flawless runs to beat the ghost's times. Even if you didn't hit a wall, once you mess up a drift, it's over.
Phantasy Star Universe (pc) - Waiting 24 hours to synth a rare weapon only to have it break into a pill.
Burnout (ps2) - Trying not to get the car wrecked during a race. Damn cars are too damn slow. Even more annoying when you get bumped into a head on collision.

The angriest moment I can think of was in Metroid Zero Mission. Getting one of the last missiletanks. Involved spacejumping between pillars hanging from the roof and a pool of water, very thin marginals here and there. Touch the water and you have to start over. It was aggrevating to the point that I had to take a break before I broke something.
