View Full Version : No .mp2 included with .m2v files?

I need a little help. I was encoding some .mkv(h264) videos with the Queue for Encoding package here: http://www.playbackhelp.com/doc/guid.../software.html and the encoded files did not include a .mp2 for sound. Only the encoded .m2v and .ass files were there. Is there a way to ensure that I did not do anything wrong and get the .mp2 file or is the audio encoded into the .m2v file? When I played the .m2v file, no audio came out. The original audio is A_AAC but I get an error that says that it is not supported. Is there a way to fix this?

m2v is just a videostream (actually mpeg2 if judging from the file-extension)

otherwise:
1) your link doesn't work
2) use megui (http://mewiki.project357.com/wiki/MeGUI) for encoding / muxing
