well, in 24ish days it well be release. I am a bit happy about it since ive not gotten a copy yet and with the enhanced edition correcting some of the original's critisims, it seems i am getting rewarded for waiting... yay.

but what about the others? you guys think you would get it or trade in your old one to replay the enhanced version?

i would be honest, had I baught it and played it already, once is enough usually, so i wouldnt get the enhanced edition but rather an expansion or sequel.

Having played the original The Witcher game which was a great and fresh experience compared to some other simliar ones like it. Story had a nice dark setting. Although it's a good game, I don't think I'll give it another go with the enhanced version. Especially having to go through that marsh area a dozen times in various parts of the story. ><

By all means though, for all those who haven't played the original when this new updated one comes out will be a wonderful opportunity to get it. The nice touches to the game that do give catch my eye are the satchel changes, especially the new filtering options. In the original, it was just awful and frustrating going through your satchel trying to find that one ingredient in the usually big mess of stuff you collect. Also, the two new adventures might be interesting but how good and how long or short it is, we'll have to wait and see. The rest of the options while nice, won't cut it for me. There's still a possibility I might get it but I'll wait for reviews and see.

The "enhanced version" will be available as a patch for download to everyone that registered their copy.

I'm really glad I waited on getting this now. I'd never have been bothered to replay such a massive game just for some enhancements to the translation and content, but now I get to play it fresh, just as the developers intended. Happy days :kakashi:

Personally, I'm looking for a patch that will revert the censored American version to the uncensored European version, preferably including the censored dialog... and graphics of course...
