Adaptation of the BaseSon eroge.

Koihime Musō re-imagines the classic Chinese historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms in action/love comedy form with an all-female cast. The game itself featured upwards of 30 female characters. The male protagonist who filled the role of Liu Bei in the game is absent from this version.

Having lost her family to bandits during night raid, Kanu swears, she will not let others share the same pain. She quickly becomes a well-known and feared by villains bandit hunter. During her journey she comes across others, who wish to join her cause. One of them is a girl Rin Rin, who had similar experience with bandits in the past.

After watching the whole serie, I thought she wanted to take revenge for the death of her brother : searching the culprits, find them, kill them or arrest them. Classic Story.
However, the main character Kan'u Unchou fights some bandits, make friends, travel, fights some bandit, make friends, travel, etc... and in the end of the anime she commands an army... And saves a village.
I was a little disappointed.
Anyway, it was a good anime : nice colors, nice animation, sometimes some yuri scenes, opening is good to listen. Ending well forget it.
I think they can do an another season easily. Kan'u Unchou makes a lot of friends, she can ask them to search the murder of her brother.
Just wait and see for any announces about a second season...
