hahaha, Hong you're wrong, my room doesn't have any wallscroll, i have only paper poster, i think they are better than wallscroll in terms of keeping them nice. I mean from my experiene, wallscroll tends to have their color fade off a lot more easier than regular paper poster. so yeah.... my opinion, dont' have to agree with that, but man seriouslly u guys have really nice wallscroll. ^_^

I have a dozen or so wallscrolls but I only hang one of them at a time. I may sell or give some of them away though because I really don't hang them all anymore. My favorites are the non-bootleg ones because the colors on them or so nice and vivid and the cloth is also higher quality. I only have two Japanese non-bootleg wallscrolls; one being of Rei from Evangelion, and one of Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop.

My current wallscroll is of an elf girl; I have no idea who she is, I just loved the picture. My room is purple-painted so it goes quite well. :)

In the greater seattle area, there are eight or so anime stores now. Prices vary for wall scrolls depending on the type, size, and whether it is bootleg or not.

(1) TYPE: There are cloth ones and another type that is made of white plastic slats similar to the roll-up bamboo screens.

(2) SIZE: I've seen three standardized sizes in that virtually all of the wall scrolls I have seen so far have fallen into one of the three sizes for cloth ones. The size variety for the plastic slat screens varies a lot.

(3) PRICES: Bootlegs have ranged in price from $5.99 to $11.99 for the smaller ones at a local store with many of them in the $7.99 range. Some stores charge a non-bootleg price for a bootleg wallscroll, so beware.

For those who say "But I don't have an anime shoppe in my area!", I will tell you to try using http://local.google.com/ with the keyword "anime" (or "oriental") to search the types of shoppes in your area. This feature works for the Seattle area although it only shows up a few of the stores so far.

I've had several people tell me that it is Arshes Nei or Pirotess, but I know for a fact that it is neither of those characters. ^^; Whoever she is, she's pretty obscure. Oh, and her hair is purple.

I have this exact same one!! I used to buy a lot of wallscrolls but after I bought this one, I haven't bought a new wallscroll since. It's the only wallscroll I have up and it's been hanging on my wall for the past 4-5 years. I don't think I'll ever switch it out, I love it too much :p. Though I do have quite a few posters in my room like the one of Elly that's on the front cover of the Xenogears Perfect Works Artbook :eek: :D :cool:

10-12$ is a good price although most you find will probibly be 15$. i bought many posters and wallscrolls from previous AX's, good selection. if you find multiple scrolls at a single booth you like, try to haggle a lower price out of them.

Rightstuf.com accepts money orders. they also send mail order forms in packages. i hav'nt used mail order but it looks like what you want with a CATALOG# feild on the form.

Totally agreed. I'd rather have kao no nai tsuki though... Momoka's nice, but no one strikes me like Suzuna does.
