i'm trying to figure out where the first tune is from, after asking a bunch of people on my msn list the first tune is the only one I couldnt find out, they go in this order:
?, mario, punch out, castlevania, Metroid, Final Fantasy

Chrono Trigger - AD600 song.
Super Mario Bros - The pipes song.
Final Fantasy - Prelude.
I couldn't figured out the rest....It sounds familiar though =/

Thanks, I found it as Wind Scene - Overworld theme, havn't played ct in forever
The song order is as follows:
1. Wind Scene - Chrono Trigger
2. Underworld Theme - Super Mario Bros.
3. Fight theme - Punch-Out
4. Bloody Tears - Castlevania II - Simon's Quest (Would've liked to have heard more of this.)
5. Kraid - Metroid
6. Prelude - Final Fantasy
There you have it! I didn't like the Bloody Tears segueway, though. Bad way to treat the best song in the set. :(

5. Theme from Brinstar - Metroid
It's more like "Brinstar Depths" from Super Smash Bros., right?
That's the name they gave it on the soundtrack for Smash Bros. On the NES, it was just "Theme from Brinstar". Was it actually on Smash Bros.? If it was, I never noticed.

But the Theme from Brinstar from Metroid is not the same song as Brinstar Depths from Super Smash. It's two different songs :)
Waitasec. I just remembered something. That song's just called "Kraid" I think. I'll go back and change it. It just so happens that the "Brinstar Depths" is where you fight Kraid. Oops.
