Does anybody know if it will be released for the Xbox in the U.S. anytime soon? The Japanese release date is December 16th, but I can get no concrete confirmation for the U.S. (some sources say Q1 2005)

I personally think that GGXX#R is much better to play, but the idea of 16-person Xbox Live mayhem sounds crazy fun.

of course it's gonna be better on a x-box because the x-box is a better console system than PS2! X-box has a faster cpu, hard drive, more ram, better graphics, and has higher resolution. ( x-box can display up to 1080p) In short x-box is a good system but lacks games.

i suggest that you not post something that would start a flame war and has nothing to contribute to the topic.

and about isuka, it will be close to the jap. release, since its for xbox and its a fighting game.

#R is far superior than Isuka. You should take Isuka as a "fun game to play with friends" only, because as a competition game, it sucks really bad. The turn button is the worst thing i've ever seen in a fighting game.
#R has better gameplay, better graphics and better music. Isuka is not a bad game, but it's not worth as a real fighting game. At least they added new characters and new backgrounds (finally).
#R still owns!

By the way, what's that "16-person Xbox Live mayhem"? The X-box version can be played up to 16 people or something?

#Reload is far more fun. Isuka is too confusing for me, too many people, a background/foreground switching, turning around, life bars are too small to see, etc. It's just a mess.
And the graphics for Isuka are actually worse than the graphics in #R.
(I dont' mean in console comparisons, I mean the actual graphics of the game)

I've played Isuka on PS2... I agree that the new graphics doesn't look as good. I like the fact that they added new stages, but they look kinda static compared to the old ones, and I prefer the old 'flame' over the new 'sky' effect during overdrive attacks. And we get to see no more cool instant kills (I guess that can be a good thing, since I'm a Dizzy-user). I'll still give props to Arc for trying something new, though.

I don't plan on playing it in single player mode much, as there's no way you can turn quicker than the A.I. regardless of how good you are. I just want something to play with my friends over winter break.

As for the Xbox Live component, according to the official Japanese website, up to 16 players will be able to play at once.

Also, I've actually heard that Isuka was not meant to be a traditional GG release. I've read some sources stating that it's a fan-service filler before GGXXX is released. It's just a rumor, though.

It is meant to be a fan-service filler??? Instead of that, they should have given us "Guilty Gear Anime" and we would have been veeeeery happy.

Yea, what's the deal with the intro for GGI? It's so crappy... And I don't like whoever did the new character illustrations. Everybody looks really weird, especially Dizzy. Should've at least gotten the hottest character straight. T_T

You're so true. OMG! Take a look at Baiken!! What the hell is that? My 7 year old brother can draw better than that. There are some that are quite alright though, like Dizzy (better than #R IMO), Millia, ABA, and some more....
Sammy definitely need to find a better artist....Tony Taka comes to mind...I'd love to see Dizzy drawn by him....
Second thought, he doesn't have the "dark" style that GG needs, but I'd like to see Dizzy drawn by him anyway....

I didn't like how Millia's forehead looks so huge in GGI. And Bridget actually looks cuter than all the female characters. That's so wrong in so many different ways. "-_-

Dunno... I personally thought that the Dizzy illustration for X and XX were fine the way they were (the one at the selection screen). Whoever did all the drawings for story mode endings in XX wasn't very good, though.

It's ironic how always the best pics of any female character are always from hentai doujins

I think Daisuke (the guy who made the game) said Dizzy was originally designed to be a hentai star. So she was made to be a half-naked goth chick and look all "lolita"-ish. An interesting little side trivia if you didn't know before.

I just got myself Guilty Gear XX #reloaded and I really like this game. :D
I was thinking about getting Isuka, but it seems like it's not going to be as good as reloaded, based on what you guys said. :( Anyway, thanks for the info, I guess I will rent and see if I like it. :)

Okay, but when will it be released on Xbox in the US? Also I think it will be better on Xbox. I like xbox as an overall system but the games kinda suck. Not enough variations.

Yea, I agree. If Isuka is not going to be released in the U.S., the next 2D fighter Xbox owners can look forward to is "King Of Fighters 2002/2003"... And that could face several more delays too.

It will be released on Xbox in the US I think. They released in Japan already. KOF is okay. I like Maximum Impact because it's different. Fun game and I like the music.Sucks that its only on PS2 though. At least I have MVC2

MVC2 is good... always fun to play. SVC Chaos was horrible, though.

Ya, I hated those SNK vs capcom, worst collaboration ever. I also hated the music for MVC2, always turned down the volumn and just pumped out some good music.

MvC2: Hate this game. It's a total mash fest, with no personality. No special intro's between characters. No ENDINGS! Lame stages, horrid music. Nice character selection but most suck.

SvC: Better. Fighting is old school, requiring tactics and skill. Also has some very funny dialogue between fighters. Music and stages suck. Character selection is okay, but I'm really getting sick of using pretty much the same characters over and over again in all the VS game, and to many damn fireball/upper cutters.

Isuka looks much better then both. I hope they release it on xbox.

Isuka is good but its more like a party game and its hard to get use to the buttons IMO I think Guilty Gear X2 is way better than Isuka in fact Guilty Gear X2 is my favorite fighting game Street fighter 3rd strike being my second
