Original post:

So I got a few requests to upload/share my KTC/Unreal Comics collection. I had to sort out the novels, duplicates, and the few digital/interactive mangas from the collection which leaves me with roughly 86 ~105 books to share.

I'm not going to bother with looking for cover images nor am I going to bother with people who complain about not being able to read the description/filename properly because I left them in Japanese (the vast majority of the books, anyway).

Many of these books have already been hosted before and roughly 25 of which I had to grab by myself. I give thanks to Skull_Leader for sharing the lion's share of the initial collection I had, and some thanks to sukebe. If anyone knows how to contact sukebe, tell him that he fucked up Inwaku Metamorphose [the h-mangaka is KOMORI Ei, not Alto Seneka who works mostly with Rusty Soul].

So, what have I done with the collection? Well, I've largely standardized the filename nomenclature:

(TYPE) [Genre or Mangaka] Title.zip

or something like that. Final note is that I use Japanese Region on my computer so the Japanese filenames show up fine on my computer. If you have issues with that, rename it yourself since I'm not going to do it [my collection was already in a certain state of order].

I think I've mentioned this already but I had roughly 110+ files to sort through. A number of them were duplicates I got through emule as a "just in case" and roughly 25 of them had to be renamed to the standard I mentioned earlier.

If anything, you should be glad that I bothered to romanize or explain the links instead of posting incomprehensible filefactory links. Doing that for 86 books already took up 3 hours since I had to manually insert the links AND romanize AND make sure the romanization (or English-translated title) made sense.

If I had to search the KTC website and manually link their covers to the post as well, you can forget about seeing this thread. Don't believe me?

Have fun looking for the covers to those files I mentioned. This is exactly why I kept most of the filenames to these books in Japanese, so that I can look for them when I'm making a smaller pack like this one:

And mind you, that thread is one and a half years old and those images you see there are linked directly from KTC's website, as are most of the other threads I've made on KTC books.

Since you have the time to complain about this, do me a favor and do something about it yourself and post it here. I'm very liberal with distributing credit where it is deserved hence my rant about Skull_Leader and sukebe. I know that there's one other person I forgot to mention, which involves a search for all of KTC's Tokiryoujoku books.

I just remembered that I had Erect Sawaru's new book, which is published by KTC, which was initially downloaded and archived in a different folder. Part of the problem with looking for and downloading KTC books is that there are MANY times where the initial provider will NOT mention that it is a KTC book. And since I haven't been keeping track of KTC's releases for the past 6 months or so, I currently don't know what other books they've released in that period. This is inclusive of Comic Unreal's publications as well. Remember that Comic Unreal are a subsidiary of Kill Time Communication (KTC).

I download roughly 8 GB of h-manga per week (or so) and I burn off that same amount once the 8 GB limit has been reached. I made it a habit to read/skim through most of these since they're usually downloaded at a rate of 5-6 books per day. However, when someone posts a huge pack - like what sukebe loves to do - that basically disrupts my routine and I won't be able to check through all of them at once since I can only go through roughly 10-12 books at most in a day (mostly for quality checking, summarizing the book, and archiving). That said, sukebe is probably the most consistent KTC provider I know of (indirectly), though he would post the books as a pack with other books and not have the time to label and sort them through. I don't blame him/her for that, since he usually posts about 20-25 books at a time. It's also usually a race to dl as many of the items as fast as possible before MegaUpload starts complaining and kills the links. If you heard of sites.google.com, that's his site.

And yeah, there's also the fact that I've been busy keeping track of C75-related materials. >_>

I said that because I have some of your file,some are in the different English name, and I have to search in google the cover for not duplicate it. Searching the cover in your english name sometimes is not a easy work, there are some that I can't have the good result, the good cover for that file. If you already have the file, you can use the photobucket and upload here, it is easier for us to compare. If you don't have time, it's okay, because you've done a wonderful work.
I don't like the pack torrent, I don't like torrent, cauze even I open the port modem, my speed is only 13k/s, and in the hole pack, I have some. The file factory I don't hate it that much, it works fine with firefox 3beta. Last night I use chrome with IDM, and file factory stops me all the time. I prefer megaupload, and I only ask you the link, if you don't mind. If not, it's fine, even file factory require me to wait 20min / file, it's fine, cauze I know I can have it.

C75-related materials=?

First of all, I prefer to leave the majority of the KTC books in Japanese. It's a lot easier to search for their covers when you have the filenames already in Japanese.

Secondly, most of these titles are "romanizations". I only substitute English into the soft link (the links you click on) whenever the book explicitly implies its use whether through hiragana or katakana or even when it's the secondary title (example being Limit Break by Drill Jill). Sometimes, it IS easier to remember a book by its secondary title rather than its primary title. For example, there's an anthology whose title reads 戦女神 (IKUSA MEGAMI) and its secondary title reads ヴァルキリー (Valkyrie). Other times, the company will mess with you by throwing the actual translation of the title in a format that is anything but furigana (example being Datenshi-tachi no Requiem which in English reads as Fallen Angels' Requiem).

Third, I have a "free member" account with MegaUpload. I chose not to use MegaUpload mostly because I have seriously bad connection issues with the MegaUpload servers. Hosting these files through Sharebee would take forever and Mediafire nukes these files almost on sight. Problem with Rapidshit is that I have to pay for their bloody service otherwise only 10 people will be able to download the file before it gets locked and deleted. I chose to use FileFactory because I rarely have problems with it whenever I'm uploading something. I'm actually a semi-regular raw-manga provider on another forum because of the library I was able to upload onto my FileFactory account.

Fourth, I have a photobucket account, how else is my signature image hosted? Problem with photobucket is that they're very quick to delete any hentai images I have, which includes the covers to these books. Trust me, that was one of the first things I tried to do as I was making this thread and before I started uploading the files.

Fifth, C75 = Comiket 75. There are about 330 new doujinshis that got published/shared. I don't even know if people are going to share the doujins from the lesser known circles/groups or not.

Yeah, there are other ways to host the cover images such as using those xxx-imagehosts. I chose not to use those services because a few of them have really annoying pop-up windows and ads.

As for the cover images, I've already linked 12 of them, which leaves 75 covers to hunt for. I think a few of my previous KTC threads also have covers. I'll look into linking more of them later.

Yeah, I'll sort out the images some time later. Thing is, I'm missing a ton of these books and there are about 3-5 of which I KNOW I have because I recognized the filename as one of the many books that sukebe uploaded in his ridiculous batch uploads.

By the way, if anyone wants to help me sort out the order of the covers that I've put up, feel free to do so. Just right-click and copy the image link, then paste the links according to the book order. You can use the image tags if you want and I'll credit you with helping me in keeping the post organized.

I realize what you're doing is a ton of work, so feel free to brush off the request.

I'm wondering if you'd be able to actually include the Japanese name (non-romanji) so as to make it easier to search for covers myself rather than ask you to do it.

Most of the files are using their original Japanese names. The ones that have romanized file names are from Skull_Leader or from sukebe's rapidshare links. Thing is, the links are in alphabetical order (filename-wise) on both my filefactory account and my computer. I'll see if there's a way to simplify extracting the Japanese names or not.

Yeah, I don't natively run region set to Japan so the filenames on mouseover are just blanks and the files names on download are just the ampersand codes (so they just look like &h3&p4&g1 etc) ;D

You might want to start using Japanese Unicode as your system setting. I started using Japanese Unicode as my regional setting several years ago. It was the only way I could get my Japanese games to run. Games like Mahotama or Raidy or whatnot.

By the way, I just counted the covers that I've listed; there are 60 covers currently listed.

You mean the 2nd and third from the bottom? Of which one? The original post or the updates? And are you talking about the files or are you talking about the images?

If you're talking about the images, then use this format:

Just be sure to specify which section and phrase it as "cover-[row-number][column-number]" if you're talking about the image.

Anyway, it's been a few days and HentaiShare.com has uploaded Rider Suit Heroine 1 and 2 on their site... Feel free to check the file sizes, though I'm pretty sure that they got it off of me. Not surprising though since the last time I hosted a KTC torrent, another website took the same files and uploaded them as their own. If they want to provide a mirror, that's fine, but claiming credit [read: promoting their own site] for finding the file is rather lame. >_>

That said, if I can't find something through my regular channels [torrent, ddl, forums, etc] then I usually resort to emule since it's the only bloody thing that works because Share and Perfect Dark got nuked by my school's routing system.

All my files on filefactory are still up. It might be because you've hit your download limit and have to wait a few minutes before you can download again. At least it's not file size dependent like Depo_shit_share. Furthermore, you have roughly 3 months from the last access to download each file and I make it a point to bump an old thread once every two months. >_>

The school I'm currently at has royally fucked up a lot of p2p programs, torrent programs included. If you're worried about the files looking weird on the website, don't be. Set your computer's Unicode setting to Japanese Regional so that it will automatically recognize the names of the files as Japanese text.

Yes he was. The reason being that the links on the site match up with what he posted on sukebe.nyaa<cut out> and the fact that several of the files have a watermark or a comment that explicitly mentions him as the owner/originator of the files.

Well, KK3K gave up on the blog back in January or so. A lot of his links were getting reported, so he stopped updating and just left the blog alone.

Kind of recently the blog suddenly went invite only. Not sure if that just to official close the blog down, or if he restarted it and wanted to control who had access to prevent "fuckwads" from reporting his links.

Anyway, it was a pretty nice blog for hmanga. erocomic just had the names listed, but KK3K also put covers and preview pages so you could quickly determine if it was something you even wanted to bother with.

Yeah. I suggested invite-only to one of the raw-manga providers who also had his blog nuked by fuckwads who hit the "report" button. I am now a member of that raw-manga community and I occasionally post on that new blog as well.

Thing is, I should probably look into getting myself invited into KK3K's site as well since it seems like something I'd definitely be interested in.

Well, what I can say is that going invite-only means that the "current" site became expendable. That means that there's another site that is being set-up from scratch that is completely invite-only. This was basically the process that was decided on when the raw-manga site owner considered it.

Yes, a few people will still be able to get to the old site, but there's nothing there and it is not likely to be updated again. The old site has essentially become a trap and anyone who wants to get invited into the new site can only be invited by the site owner. In my case, I have posting privileges on the site, but no admin-related privileges like being able to invite people directly.

I'm working on trying to download it. Thing I absolutely hate about being in Hong Kong is that there are a lot of trackers that I cannot connect to. Anirena is one such tracker. Thing is, even if I can connect with the tracker and there were 1000 seeds, I wouldn't be able to connect to any of those seeds because of the bullshit network settings that this school uses.

Problem is, ALL my KTC links got nuked except for the 5 most recent links from this thread. That's basically all 37 volumes of Tokiryoujoku, 11 volumes of Slave Heroine, and 97 volumes from this thread. >_>

I'll be re-uploading the books from this thread last because of the aforementioned plan to move to image-based links, which is a huge bitch to deal with unless someone wants to give me a hand and whatnot.

I've actually finished reuploading them, but I'd rather not post the links yet. Thing is, I've got finals next week and searching for cover images and whatnot is a huge hassle. >_>

I mean, I COULD post the links, but most of them use Japanese text for their file names so it's inconvenient for people to figure out which is which out of a list of 97 files. I think the smart thing to do is to wait for the image-linking to be done and whatnot. It took me 3-4 hours to make the starting post, and that was ALL TEXT. So you can imagine how long the image-linking is going to take. >_>

I just send you a PM, and the link to the file is in there as well. I took me awhile to finish it but hope it helps. :)

Oh, and I found an easy way to find the comic from the KTC website without relying on the Kanji. The KTC website support the search using ISBN, and obviously all the magazine had them, so just type it in (even part of it will suffice), and voila there you go, you don't even need to know Japanese. :D

Hope this will help people trying to find correlation between the translated title, romanji title and their Kanji one.

Have you tried using JDownloader?

See, problem I have right now is that my maximum stable upload rate is ~40 KB/sec so I'm hoping that someone else will be able to download the entire package and then re-upload onto another service (preferably a multi-host service like Sharebee) and then post the links here.

Once this pack goes down, that's going to be it. I'm not going to be able to re-upload 107 books even if it does take all week long.

Crap. I wasn't paying attention to this thread when my Seagate external drive died on me. Anyway, thanks to kiranet, I now have 2 more books to add to my KTC collection. I actually picked up Nakadashi Haramase from sukebe and a few more as well and will upload them to my filefactory account when the entire batch is done downloading (since I need to look into the files to figure out which books are KTC and which aren't).

It's almost 4 AM now and I have a job interview in 11 hours. Expect an update when I get back. :D

My Seagate external is a FreeAgent Pro. I've had it for about 2 years and have used it continuously (nonstop) until the day it died. >_>

I picked up a 1 tera WD Caviar Black hdd as the replacement storage for the dead FreeAgent. Now I need to bitch to Seagate to send me a replacement because it's kind of bullshit that my warranty is voided if I open my case to retrieve my data. I have 7 years' of stuff on that drive that goes back all the way to high school. To tell me that data recovery is not covered in their warranty is just asking me to go over to their office and beat the shit out of them, especially if my recovery instantly voids the warranty.

There's also this bullshit about going through licensed/certified data recovery centers that charge $200 USD (if flat rate) to 300-1800+ USD if based on an hourly rate.

Also, my friends who have Seagate 1.5 TB and higher hdds have been complaining about the craptacular firmware on the 1.5+ TB Seagate drives because it killed their drives.

That actually looks like a reboot of Slave Heroines.

So in terms of continuity:
Tokiryoujoku (37 volumes) ==> Slave Heroines (15+ volumes) ==> Tohshin Engi (you can read this as Tohshinden if you want because that's essentially what the premise of this publication is about).

Hmm, I kind of don't like how KTC changed their cover layout. Normally, you'd have the company/division's logo on the front cover but they're scaling it back and only leaving it on the spine. It makes it much more likely for me to miss out on a KTC release, especially the ones from Comic Unreal.

Hi telperion, I don't know why this thread isn't showing up on my Subscribed list which is why I haven't been able to get back to you in a timely manner.

Anyway, I don't have Brave Maiden and I haven't seen any new works from Take on emule. I can't get Share nor Perfect Dark to work (because of a mix of the online instructions not being that clear and because no one has really bothered to help me with that).

If I find anything new, I'll definitely upload it and post it here.

This might already have been asked but are these artists Korean? I know non h-manga for this publisher (Freezing, Onihime vs, Aflame Inferno) are done by Koreans but are published in Japan and read left to right like other Japanese manga and not right to left like traditional Korean Manwha(sp?) like Veritas.

Just curious.

Most of the artists are Japanese. The only reason why you're currently seeing Korean artists on Kill Time Communication is because KTC owns Valkyrie Comics as a subsidiary and beyond that, I'm not familiar with the requirements for publication on Valkyrie Comics.

KTC, however, is doing just fine as it is though a number of h-mangaka have moved out of KTC's umbrella like Parfait, Tenchumaru, and a few others. The other explanation is that they might have worked with KTC for a single-purpose project and probably didn't sign on for any other contracts with KTC.

Unfortunately, I don't have any of the Toushin Engi books. I've been asking around for them in the Slave Heroines and Comic Unreal threads but it doesn't seem like anyone has them at all.

The Taimanin Asagi link you provided is for the novel. Do you want the novel or the anthology h-manga? The anthology h-manga is already in the OP post whereas I may have to look for the novel.

Oh yeah, I do have one new book but I don't think it's worth anyone's time to look here just for one book. If you guys want me to post it anyway, just say so in the thread and I'll post it.

Hmm, I'm currently having filehosting issues. FF changed their rewards policy back in December which has made hosting files on FF somewhat unsustainable (as in, I can't upload to it and expect it to still be online 3 months later). I'm thinking of switching over to MegaUpload but their file management system is a complete mess. Anyone have any other suggestions regarding a filehost that supports a minimum of 200 mb filesize?

Been looking for those and not having much luck at all. The books with the DL monikers/tags/listing are basically mini-anthologies composed of 3 stories each as opposed to the usual 8-10 stories for a proper anthology.

Hotfile does, I believe. As does Megaupload/Megaporn?

I have issues with how blatantly stupid Megaupload's file management interface is. When I upload something, I usually upload in a batch which means the ability to upload directly into a folder becomes somewhat important to me. MediaFire and FileFactory are great for those purposes but MediaFire has a 100 mb file size cap whereas FileFactory has a 300 mb file size cap. Many of the books that you see me hosting are at least 100 mb in size due to people having access to higher resolution scanners.

Ever recover from the hdd crash, Mahouneko? Been almost a year and still reeling from mine :( Anyhow, any chance anyone has found Brandish 3 and the single vol release of 黒薔薇の騎士　聖帝ローザ and 魔が堕ちる夜 (not the anthology for the latter).

Yeah, I sort of recovered from the hdd crash. I don't have all of my bookmarks because firefox was being stupid and saved the whole thing in an unrecoverable section. I've forgotten about changing the signature, my apologies.

I don't think that Brandish 3 is out yet. I might have the Ma ga Ochiru Yoru ero-novel if that's what you're asking.

Brandish 3 according to their site is out Dec last year, iirc. Ma ga ochiru yoru had another story going with Slave Heroine, was talking about the single volume that released when that plot concluded, though the ero-novels would be interesting too.

I'm not sure what 2D Dream Magazine covers. I know that it's up to its 51th volume but from what I understand, it shares the same content as some of the other serialized magazines like Tokiryoujoku, Unreal Comics, Slave Heroines, and Toushin Engi. Assuming that it's a monthly serialization, that puts its age at 4 years and 3 months old. Tokiryoujoku came out back in 2004, about two years before 2D Dream Magazine started so that should put things in perspective.

It's kind of why people pick up the specialized books instead of 2D Dream. That said, I'm probably missing a whole 100 books from the KTC listing even with my collection of 139 unique books (+ 37 Tokiryoujoku, + 16 Slave Heroines, + 7 Toushin Engi, + 22 Comic Unreal).

I think i have few more on that list too but i have too look deeper in my stack. Leave me a msg if you want them, we will find a way to transfer, i am not too fond of uploading these online.

That request list is current (as in I still don't have those books) and there are many more books that I am currently missing so it'll be updated whenever I can.

Also, my laptop is dying, again. One BSOD crash a week was tolerable. BSOD-ing every 15 to 30 minutes? Unacceptable.

That said, if you're not comfortable with having your links exposed, send them to me via private messaging and I will credit you and re-upload them to my account.

@everyone else:
I'm thinking about implementing "Happy Hours", as in every day at a certain time for 1-2 hours, everyone will have unrestricted access to download the files from my FileFactory account. Let me know what you guys think of it by posting here.

Just for your info, Honey Holic have been posted in the forum just about a week ago.

* BSOD at an interval of 15 to 30 minutes. This really hurts. I think that means you need a new one? But recent laptop price would not be as expensive as few years back. But it is still a pain to fork out salary to get a new one.

*About the happy hour, I think it will benefit some especially in certain time zone but nevertheless it is still a good idea that might be worthy to implement. Maybe you can get a feedback from that system and adjust the happy hour accordingly.

Ah, I'll need to look into Honey Holic then. Thanks for the heads up!

But yeah, I can't trust HP for their laptops anymore. HP laptops have horrendous build quality. I'm going to go with an Asus laptop or a Sony laptop instead, at least those will last me for a good 3-4 years.

As for Happy Hour, it's kind of why I'm waiting to hear what other people have to say about it.

Right now, my laptop is crapping out on me so I'm trying to save up enough to buy a new laptop that would last me for the next 3-4 years. Also, I have a KTC Request Thread that is listed on the very first post. You might want to add your request to that thread and see what people come up with.

Ah, that's because you're still a Junior Member. Once you have 30 posts, your account will be converted into a "regular" member and you should be able to gain access to that. That said, try not to spam your way to 30 posts. Lol.

I used to torrent up until I moved out of the dorms. I'm still crimped by my ISP's upload rate and occasionally shoddy connection. I haven't replaced my laptop yet and one of my external hard drives just died on me, which is an additional expense that I have to deal with.

Upload rate is determined by your ISP. SSH and VPN have nothing to do with it.

Also, Happy Hour is currently in effect.

Well, I don't know what country you're in right now and secondly, I've explained why I can't be bothered to use Megaupload and some of the other services. Megaupload, in particular, has horrible file management system.

KTC = Kill Time Communications, the parent company that owns 2D Dream Comics + Unreal Comics + Valkyrie Comics.
2D Dream Comics = responsible for 2D Dream Magazine, Tokiryoujoku series, Slave Heroines series, and Toushin Engi series
Unreal Comics = self-explanatory, I don't believe that Unreal Comics has branched out to produce its own series yet
Valkyrie Comics = responsible for publishing the non-hentai content, just think of it as another Shounen Jump but with better overall quality

So this thread mostly covers the hentai aspect of KTC. Valkyrie Comics publishes Freezing, Unbalance x Unbalance (UnbalanceX2, or UxU), Aflame Inferno, and many others. They're doing pretty well on the manga side of things with the only problem being the usual "the mangaka is slacking off or deathly ill or has too many projects going on".

I'm not particularly surprised. Nice thing about Perfect Dark is that it has a peer review system, which easily highlights the fakes from the real files.
