Writing

English language is today the most important one for business and information overall, also for fun like we do here where no matter where you are from we can all understand each other in English.

That's why for both personal and professional reasons I decided to test myself in the Cambridge English: First certificate about a month ago and a few days ago I got my results. Obviously I decided to try an easier level because I didn't have too much time to get ready and because (I'm not gonna lie) I'm a bit lazy.

News would have been that I didn't pass the exam, so there's nothing to talk about here... except for one thing. One part of the exam consists on writing two essays, normally some sort of letter and a free article or story to choose from a list. But here comes what shocked me the most from my results. I barely passed the writing part being that part the lowest of my scores and I was very surprised.

I really hoped that writing articles and threads here in HongFire helped me on this but I guess it didn't.

There's nothing to worry about, I passed all parts but I'm just shocked that the writing (the part I feel most confident about) gave me the lowest score of my test. It was quite easy... or I thought so, since it was answering to a letter with some information and writing one story that began with a specific sentence.

I guess that my story about two friend with hangover didn't please the examiner.
