  • Flash RPG Project

    Hi guys:
    I'm trying to develop a GOR-RPG with Flash. I've just released the beta 0.1 (it's short, but playable), so I need opinions to keep on working on the game. I mainly need your critics about:
    - Main character´s look.
    - Game mechanics/difficult.
    - Game art (what things I should improve).
    - Languaje (english mistakes and errors).
    - Bugs.
    - Everything else you'd like to comment.

    All opinion will be wellcome.

    Looks very promising... Graphic is rather good, I mean main character. I think areas are quite big and empty. Are there any sex scenes? I couldn't find any?

      I few things I noticed:
      - When heading south it is easy to get surprised by a rat
      - it is possible for a rat to be at such a location that it can attack you but you can't kick it. Also sometimes the main char's kicks miss rats that should be in range
      - was there a list of keys shown anywhere? So that I don't have to guess which key does what?
      - is there any way to run? Because the area seems rather large and it takes a while to get anywhere...
      - is there a map of the area? If not: Is it planned for a future version?

      A promising start. Looking forward to next version. Hopefully it will have some H content too.

        Reading Moonblack and your answer, I'm considering reducing the map for the next version, so I could avoid so many empty map. A "run key" is another option, but I'll have to make another animation of the main character running, and today I feel to lazy... xD. Anyway, reducing map sounds better.

        For the momment I don't have any sex scene implemented. I have some male characters, but not the scenes. That's because I need an almost final version of the main character before doing more animations of her. For any single change I do on her (for example, making a leg bigger), I need to repeat in most of the photograms of the animation. Thus, if I have a lot of photograms*, it's a bloody lot of work. That's why I prefer the character to be as much perfect as possible before making more animations of her (including sex). And that's why I need your opinion about her before keep on working. Is she sexy enough? What should I improve in the walking animation? Do you prefer any other haircut/hair-colour? Are her legs/arms/hips/boobs/lips/eyes/... sexy enough? ... etc.


        * Actually, I don't need to redo the leg, but I have to redo the conection of the leg with other parts. So, I haven't found an easy way to do it in Flash.

        About the map, I didn't plan it at first, but it's a good idea. I'm thinking about any kind of quest that rewards you with a map.
        And you can have a basic description of the game keys in the config menu at main menu. Some of them are still unused, but I have ideas for them: something like 2 different sexual attacks.

        And deffinelly, I have to review the kick attack area. For the next version, I hope to implement magical attacks too. And some sex too (Shame on me: a hentai game without sex! Needs to be fixed).

          hi,

          your game is very interesting

          like others said the map will be quite important.
          Also the rat can kill me when I'm walking, very quickly...

          With the 1st quest, I've ate mushrooms so I can't finish the 1st quest...
          Maybe you can make them reappear randomly?

          Keep on doing this stuff man, it's amazing

            The game looks very good, especially for the first version. The animations are a bit "blocky" but well within tolerable levels. Since you say that this is going to be an RPG, You might want to think about how much walking around and looking at the environment the player is going to need to be doing, because if it is anything like the regular rpgmaker games that are posted here, the current zoom level and how much of the screen the character is filling up will get old FAST. Also the very first thing that popped into my head when playing this game, and my primary thought about this game, is on the look of the character. Choose your preferred word: whore, slut, bimbo, hoe, tramp, prostitute, ugly porn star, make-up guzzling bitch, bratz doll, she looks like all of them. Honestly, it would have to be a ridiculously good game for me to even play it with the character looking like she does. But honestly, if thats the style that you like, go for it man.

              Man, you just hit the bullseye!

              I used Monster High characters (so any kind of Bratz doll) as model. That was the look I wanted at the beginning, because I was looking for a attractive character but somehow different of the hentai look. Thus, I tried this way, and I liked it.

              Anyway, some people seems to be shocked by the "slutty" look of the main character, so I'm planning to let players configure some parts of her look (for example make up).

                  I would keep items finite; just make quest items only usable for the quests. For example, replace 10 red 'rooms on the map with 10 unusable black 'rooms that the guy wants.

                  It would be nice if the camera followed you so your character stayed in the center instead of nearing the edge and only seeing 1/3 of the screen in front of you.

                  On the subject of the character design, I personally am not a fan of the Monster High look, and would prefer smaller eyes and lips, in addition to a more proportionate head size. However, the fact that it is easy to see the Monster High influence show you have achieved what you set out to do.

                    I implemented another idea: I just changed the description for "This mushroom seems fit to be eaten. But my intuition says I shouldn't eat it.". So, eating or not is up to you.

                    The original model was like twice big head. Anyway, I like this look. For me it is sexy, but I'll let people configure some parts of her. I mean, if you are going to see her the time you play, you'd prefer her to be as more sexy as possible for you.

                        So is the rune stone mentioned to be in the metal chest something you're adding later? Cause I'm pretty much stuck in the forest because the metal chest just gave me two sacks of gold and a health potion.

                          Sorry, I spent last week working in the Intro only. When you open the metal chest is the end of the actual version. The good news are that now I have finished the Intro, I can go back to work in the game. So, you'll have more quests soon (and runes for magical attacks too).

                            looks and plays great so far, I like the clothing options, but I haven't found a way to undress certain items, like the glasses, the boobs moving as she breaths is a nice touch. looking foward to sex scenes

                              The clothes she undress depend of the "slutyness" stat (not yet displayed in the Status menu). If her sluttyness is high enough, she doesn't mind walking naked xD.
                              About sex scenes, I'm working in the first one. Anyway, don't expect somethig hardcore.
