    So that the other threads can be used for more constructive posts, we've decided to create a support thread. In this thread you can post your questions/feedback about the various mods out there and hope the creator pays attention. If not, perhaps one of the other friendly people out there will come to your aid.
    Please be as descriptive as possible with your problem. Just posting "I can't get it to work" isn't going to get you a favorable response. If your post is super long because of the problem description, give a brief headline description, and put the bulk of your post inside some SPOILER tags.

    hello, I wander if there was really released a new Map for AG3(from homemate) or it is just a rumour and rumour only. If it is true, may I ask you to hint where I could download this mod(p.s uppervolta for me does not work anymore).

    • Yes it's true 2119 is the lakeside from Qhm, but without propper clipping like the other ported illsuion maps, no solid walls and invisible wallson some palces, also no direent levels, so guy stans in the air. Only place I know for getting this is uppervolta and I will not uploading it, I'm glad that I find a way to access, so I don't want to loose it.

            Is there one? I could have sworn I read there was, but I've looked all over and can't find it... Also is there a way to modify AG3 3D models without losing vital bone rigging and such?

            Don't say google is my friend, please, because google has proven quite unfriendly to me on this matter already...

            Sorry if this isn't the proper thread for this, but it was the most relevant one I could find. (Hongfire is like a maze to me... there's just so much stuff... everywhere.)

                  This is exactly the way the codepage is being displayed at my pc, but if it would have been a japaneese one it also would not make my life much better !! The thing is that now I'm trying to apply this new " location from Homemate"(upjs3mod2119) mod and stuck at the point where there is a turn to edit ".js3ap" file. The problem is that I got no idea which ".pp" arhive the "xx06_99_99.js3ap" file lies in? With the other points in this description it seems everything more or less understandable. But knowing the fact that me probably is the worst moder ever visiting this forum, I would ask somebody to correct me if I did something in my steps wrong. Namely I did the following:
                  Firstly, I unzipped "js3_00_00_00.pp" arhive and started editing 'js00_00_00.lst' and 'js00_03_00.lst' files that were in it(items 1. and 2. in the description depicted above).
                  Then when addition of those two files was completed, I moved to the point 3. of this description and now I stucked, cause of not knowing where this demn "js3_01_04_00" file should be found(which ".pp" archieve ?)?. So now I'm in a total agony having no Idea what further I need to do and not quite really sure whether in the previous two steps I did everything correctly. Would be grateful up to heavens, if someone could advise me what would be the correct way(maybe some brief description or steps) for this mod to be implemented? OR if someone would not mind to share needed for this mod to be working ".pp" files for me to replace in my data folder, I would be also thankful for that. In either way, thanks for any help!!!

                  • Ok, I read tutorials and have successfully imported a few new things into AG3...

                    However, I modified the length of a shirt (I made it longer, like a tunic) but now the lighting is backwards on it... (the light is hitting it from the bottom and the shadows are on the top of everything) Does anyone know how to fix this? Also there seems to be patches of clipping when there shouldn't be any objects underneath the mesh at all...

                    Do I need to post screens or files?

                          in sb3utility, check the 'Replace Normals' in the Mqo Options in the Mesh tab.
                          you might have to revert the dress back to normal in Make first and then reapply your longer skirt mesh.
                          I'm not 100% sure the reason for the weird lighting effect, but this was the only way I found to correct it.

                            after some in-game testing I discovered the clipping was far more severe than I'd expected... so I'll simply have to find a way to remedy it through a separate skirt anyway... though I really wish I could do a one piece dress somehow... (Why Illusion? WHHYYYYYY?)

                            Illusion could make a cool million or two if they released a simplified version of their build tools... (Like BethSoft did with Morrowind and Oblivion)... It wouldn't have to be anything that breaks sales of the original content... but... being able to modify a few meshes and such without utterly obliterating animation and whatnot... would be nice... most people who are into these games are computer fanatics anyway...

                            Enough ranting... I do have a question regarding a trailer for a game found on AG3 disc... but I lost the disc so I can't get a screenshot... (the trick is I can't read the kanji... it's two complex symbols and a number 3)... one of the characters is a shrine maiden type character with a sword and some sort of armor on her hand... anyone recognize it? I'd really love to rip models from such a game... if I knew the pronunciation of the symbols I could easily type it and get it translated... the only other option is to stare for hours looking them up in MS Word...

                            BTW has anyone experimented with adding a second sleeves or top option? I know separating gloves and socks is possible... but if a separate set of sleeves and tops is possible, then it would be possible to make coats or other 3rd layer upper-wear...

                              • 1. Remeber to replace the xx with correct numbers in js00_00_00.lst and zz with correct room number. Every nember must be following in the file,
                                2. in js00_03_00.lst you have to place the line sin the correct spot depending on which rommnumber you choosed.
                                3. it is the js3_00_01_X2.pp where you find the correct xx06_99_99.js3ap, remember to replace the xx in the xx06_N_door05_ZZZ0XX lin with the oom number given in .lst file (step one=
                                4. This is for icons the js3_01_04_00 isthe name of the .pp file there you should insert the icons, also firefly made alredy inurastyle icons for this.

                                You could also use the latest mapapllies to if you have problem with inserting it, the map files must be added manually, but the for steps above are than noit necessary.
