Read the HF forum rules, especially #6 and #7 in the Community Centre - Use "SEE MORE" at the top to expand the rules.

Next read our specific exceptions in Question about the forum rules. It is not allowed to link to external addresses in your signature in general!

If you have the wish to wear such(!) an external link and think that you fall into that(!) category, then contact me. I will check your link and give you a judgement. If you are unhappy about a negative one then you should either contact one additional moderator / admin or make a thread in the community centre for one additional check independent from mine.

In this post I will list members who are allowed to wear an external link and I will also list that link. So it is transparent to the whole community, especially to other moderators.

Update and fair warning!

The forum rules have been removed without any announcement. And it gets worse, as I can see that the list of flagged posts gets longer and longer. This means that we are on a sinking boat because no moderator is active anymore.

Anyone seeing infringements of copyrights please try to convince the poster to edit their own offending post. My jurisdiction is limited to the club area. Every other part in HF seems to be unhandled.

Act carefully with your signatures and links you post. I fear that another DMCA takedown will be permanent and the end of HF. You may find me then on AS.

We might be without HF rules but we have you at least back for handling posts with DMCA infringements. That's some relief!
