    Hello!
    I made an import tool of items for modder with the user.
    And for modder, I'd like to manage the merit of the ID here.

    It's explained about tool first.

    ** for STUDIO **

    -INTRODUCTION

    HoneySelect item Resolver(HiR) is the program for rebuilding the item list of HoneySelect.
    In HoneySelect you have to edit the item list according to its format when you add the Mod items. Items will not be activated by just copying.
    HiR will help you activating Mod items by automatically rebuild the item list. All you need is just run HiR.


    -PREREQUISITE

    SB3U ver.1.0.54delta - 1.1.0
    (You don't have to use SB3U. You just need to specify the pass for it in the HiR. )

    Note:
    When it is the worst, a list of items fails and may remake it from initial state.
    In that case, the display of the unofficial item in scene data is not guaranteed.

    -HOW TO USE(for mods user)

    1. Download the item Mod compliant with HiR, and copy all files.

    2. Run HiR and configure, then click [Start] button.

    3. Wait for while until you see a message "Finished" in the lower message box in the tool.

    4. The item is activated in HoneySelect Studio.


    -HOW TO COMPLY THE MOD ITEM (for modders)

    DEFINITION

    ・FREE AREA
    This area is for Mod testing or for who want to avoid the number reservation. You can use this area freely.
    You can't share the scene data with items in this area, because the item numbers are different.

    ・CONFLICT RESOLVE AREA
    This area is for the Mods competing each other. Mods are evecuated automatically. Do not use this area.

    RESERVED AREA
    This area is for the Mod with reserved item number agreed in each forum or community.
    You can share the scene data with items in this area, because the item numbers will be matched.


    FOR THE RESERVATION OF THE ITEM NUMBER

    HOW TO DISTRIBUTE MOD

    Prepare the files listed in below and distribute.

    1. File of Mod (xxxx.unity3d)
    2. Item list for HiR (xxxx.txt)
    3. Picture for item catalogue (xxxx.jpg)

    "3. Picture for item catalogue" is not necessary. if you prepare the one for each .unity3d file, it is easy to guess what item is packed in. Click image for larger version  Name:	img03.JPG Views:	1 Size:	200.2 KB ID:	5721495




    Write the list for HiR(prepare list No.2) as follows.

    First 3 Lines:
    Description. Ignored when rebuilding the item list. The line starts with "#" is the comment line.

    Definition Line:
    -Column 1: Set a empty characters
    -Column 2: Set a empty characters
    -Column 3: Set a Item Number
    If you use free area, put the empty characters
    If you use the reserved area, put the tagged area number issued.

    -Column 4: Set a Category Number
    Set a tagged category number you want to be listed in the HoneySelect Studio. Item with tag number <99> will be ignored.
    -Column 5: Set a Item Name
    Set a item name you want to display in the HoneySelect Studio.
    -Column 6: Set a Item File Path
    Set a relative path starts from "abdata". In general, it goes as "<studio/itemobj/honey/File name of your item mod.unity3d>"
    -Column 7: Set a Animater Name
    Set a Animator Name you set to your Mod item in the .unity3d file.


    -TIPS

    You Can Change the Column 4 and 5 Whenever You Like.
    Once you distribute your Mod item with incorrect category number or item name, redistribute the Mod with correct description. When users rerun the HiR, settings will be overwritten.

    ①The case which distributed a category and an item name to by mistake.
    Copy the "2. Item list for HiR (xxxx.txt)" which revised a category and an item name again, and execute HiR.
    A category and an item name are updated.

    ②When you want to add the item which you registered to the once free area to the resolve area.(Because you want to share scene data)

    Copy the "2. Item list for HiR (xxxx.txt)" which revised as follows again, and execute HiR.

    The HiR adds it using the number of the new resolve area to its area

    In the above example, added "[to be deleted]" to the item name of the free area, it notify a mods user not to use it.

    It can change a category number to 99 for item of the free area to non-display.
    But in this case, bad influence to scene data of mods user may appear.

    ③When you want to register an item registered in a reserved area to resolve area again.

    Please newly add it using the item number of the resolve area.

    It is not deleted from reserved area. However, Like a ②, it can change the name.

    It's possible to acquire the ID for the item which foresees sharing of scene data and doesn't overlap with other ones as I explained by the above.

    1. ID is handed by 50 unit to modder.
    2. An administrator of any community may acquire the fixed ID and have them distribute in the community after that.

    The person who needs the ID which doesn't conflict make the response this thread, please.
    If it's confirmed that you don't acquire the same ID at the same time after writing in was reflected, its ID is yours.

    The person who thinks you may use a free area, please. This is unnecessary for application.

    The beginning starts from 8,001.

    This area uses in the community in case of more determinative distribution.
    The difference with the free area is that the number and the relation with the tool are guaranteed.
    Everyone designates the number without declarations, and can use this area.
    But, you aren't supposed to distribute an item in this area officially.

    It's same as a reservation area as the function.
    It has been just reserved.



    @KingRexTan

    This is because the one which isn't a text file of an item list in "HoneySelect\abdata\studio\itemobj\honey\Honey sele ctItemResolver" was arranged.
    Please delete an unnecessary file from "HoneySelect\abdata\studio\itemobj\honey\Honey sele ctItemResolver". Or please use 1.0.4.

    I've applied the EMF patch, got a few maps that require this yet the HiR Clear Execute will NOT add them!
    It says finished yet doesn't do a thing, I've read through this entire thread as well as anime-sharing yet I'm losing my damn mind.
    It's 03:34, everything is going wrong.

      Hi there, thanks for responding.
      I think I know what the problem was, as it's 100% working now~
      Basically, due to confusion in reading what to do from here and anime-sharing where information varies, I moved itemlist_01.unity3d from abdata\studio\list\itemlist to abdata\studio\list\itemlist\honey.
      Then I ran ClearExecute etc and it stopped working.
      That's the instructions I read somewhere, turns out it was wrong.
      Didn't touch the file this time, worked like a charm.
      I'd write a simple newbie friendly guide but I'm not knowledgeable on the subject enough.

      I'm sorry to waste both of your time, you've been a huge help.
      I'd buy you a pint but this is a porn gathering forum.

      1.Before exec HiR_Neo, please check to use studio NEO.
      2. Without starting a game, please exec HiR_Neo.
      3. If completed, please start studio NEO.

      4. If studio NEO can't be used, please acquire below.
      * please take a screen shot "D:\illusion\HoneySelect\abdata\studioneo\info " folder.
      * please upload D:\illusion\HoneySelect\abdata\studioneo\info\00.u nity3d.

      5. please rename D:\illusion\HoneySelect\abdata\studioneo\info\old\ 00.unity3d.bak.0 to 00.unity3d.
      6. overwrite D:\illusion\HoneySelect\abdata\studioneo\info\00.u nity3d by 5.
      6. Please start studio NEO. it should normally work.

    Additional spaces in long strings such as filename with full path are inserted by vBulletin (the HF board software), not by the poster.
    To prevent inserting spaces put your long path in [code]long string[/code] tags.

    E.g.

      it just says Item Resolver is not a valid Win32 program. I'm gonna guess that it only recognises the 64bit version.

          do FK items, serve to control animated objects, such as the Tentacles, Etc.. right?

          this three FK items "[HS]FKアイテム3点セット_20170909" is it recommended if you upgrade to new HiR..? and work only with new v1.2.0 ?

          The HiR_Neo V1.2.0 can add item mods which can use FK.
          HiR_Neo V1.2.0 is necessary only when add a "[HS]FKアイテム3点セット" now.
          It is up to modders whether FK item mods will increase in future.
          And it doesn't influence official FK items.

          So apparently the format for the "old" studio itemlist and the "new" neo studio itemlist is slightly different,
          The old format had 7 properties per entry, of which 5-6 are actually used/explained in the file comments. (The last one seems to be always empty and isn't described, the second one lacks a description either, but is used by the first bed item shipping with HS.

          The new format has 13 properties per entry and contains additional options for coloring, animation and enlargement of items, plus one option that's never used (not even by the original files) and one option that's only used by the built-in stuff.

          You can't leave away the additional 6 xml elements or otherwise a) your item won't be loaded and b) HiR will complain about an error in your txt file.
          However adding sensible defaults for old items when migrating seems like a useful addon to me.

          For my own use I've created a small powershell script to generate neo compatible HiR txt files from all of my old items.
          I'll share that for anyone interested in the attached Zip file:
          The Zip file contains a .bat file and a .ps1 file. Put both into the same folder (where you put it is completely up to you) and run the bat file by dragging the abdata folder onto it.
          (I've put it in my HoneySelect main folder then pick up the abdata folder and drag it onto update-studio-objects.bat in the same explorer window. The PowerShell script is started by the bat file and it will start processing all old HiR txt files from studio/itemobj/honey/HoneyselectItemResolver/*.txt
          If an item of the same name already exists in your studioneo/HoneyselectItemResolver folder, it will ask for confirmation before overwriting.

          (The batch file is a nasty, but neccessary workaround for two PowerShell problems:
          1. Windows ships with PowerShell ever since Windows 8, but you can't execute script files by default. - Other Applications, Batch files and Shortcuts may run the PowerShell and bypass the file execution block, though.
          2. PowerShell isn't registered as Drag and Drop target/handler by default. Even if you enable script files, you still need to enter the path by hand or pass it as commandline parameter. - Batch files are registered as Drag and Drop target/handler by default and can simply pass on whatever was dragndropped on it.)

          So, too much good stuff to pass on Party, so I decided to update, but really need a confirmation:
          AFTER I update to Party DLC and
          a) want to use my OLD exisiting studio items in ORIGINAL studio -> I use HiR 1.1.1
          b) want to use my OLD exisiting studio items in NEO studio -> I use HiR_NEO

          Is this right?

            Did you disable the map display by the main game's setting ?
            It influences a studio neo too.

          • When I run ItemResolverNeo it finishes successfully without any problems. But in the studio some items appear on the menu but nothing happens when you click them. I tried to remove the latest item mod that I installed by deleting the text file in abdata>studio>itemobj>honeyHoneyselectItemResolver along with its unity.3d file and ran itemresolver again but surprisingly the items i tried to delete are still there.

            Simply put: How do you delete studio items?

              I also added another mod item (the "gom" files) that sometimes works and sometimes behaves like the [jx] items... thanks a bunch!

              I investigated it and the cause is conflict of CABinet.
              An abdata\studio\itemobj\honey\gom02.unity3d and jx_02.unity3d are the same CABinet.

              When a CABinet is the same, the one that you chose later in a studio is not displayed.
              Then..because, HiR make to only item's list, HiR doesn't resolve the problem of object files.

              [Fixed method]
              1.Open the gom02.unity3d or jx_02.unity3d in SB3U.

              2.File->CABinet

              3.CAB-cc5663956ba0bfb505bf194203yas001
              Please change a red part by an alphanumeric character.
              Even a part is all right even if you don't change all.

              4.File->Save.unity3d

            I have tried #70.1 and execute the HiR_ClearExecute.bat. But it occurred "
            [can't found ItemList_00_00.MonoBehaviour]
            ".

            Then I click 'continue' , retry the hir_neo , message
            " [error] can't update list file. please check SB3U version" occurred again.

            PS:
            1.I have checked my path, it is correct.
            2.I can use SB3UGS to open abdata\studio\list\itemlist\honey\00.00.unity3d and extract ItemList_Honey_00_Sheet2 successfully.
            3.Not only hir_neo, hir have the common problem.

              When a "HiR Clear Execute" doesn't work, the problem is difficult.
              As for the possibility of the problem, only #71.2 is thought about.

              I have read #71.2, I'm sure the Hir_neo have permission to execute it. Because the ".MonoBehaviour" file can be create or update correctly even the error output.
              But i'm not sure whether "Is there the permission that can change the file under the abdata\studioneo\info?". How to grant the permission?

              It is common to a file and folder and exe file and can change access permission as follows.
              For example, click the right mouse button on a file or folder and choose the property.
              Then you can change access permission in the property's security tab.
              Or you should execute the HiR in administrator authority.
              It is possible with a right mouse button , then select it.

            Is "F:\Program Files" really the folder created when Windows was installed? If that is so, you can try to move HoneySelect folder to the root (this will need elevation then), and then execute HiR_neo again. Does this producde the same error? If this would work then you have indeed a permission problem.

            BTW, was that folder suggested from the HS installer?

              I have move the HS folder to the "C:" path and run HIR in administrator privileges. But there still have the same error.

              The path "F:\Program Files" is my custom path.

            I do "HiR_ClearExecute.bat" then try run Hir 3 times.

            First time, the result is [can't found ItemList_00_00.MonoBehaviour].

            Before, I have a mistake with the file name, the correct info is [can't found ItemList_Honey_00_Sheet2.MonoBehaviour].

            Second time, the result is " [error] can't update list file. please check SB3U version"
            Last time, the result is two rows that "[info]list is updated by illusion or any. try to restore from backup" and "[error] can't update list file. please check SB3U version".

            Perhaps this test can help to find the reason.

              OK、As for the suggestion to be left, only this thinks.

              I want you to check whether following folder & file, exe file have permission of read & write.
              (The method is #103.3)
              ・abdata\studio\list\itemlist\honey
              ・abdata\studio\list\itemlist\honey\00.unity3d
              ・HoneyselectItemResolver.exe

              Then if there is anything from Amamiya later...

              Thank you for your help. But the users have full control of these files and paths.
              I guess the origin reason is my OS has some unknown bug. It's hard to find out.
