  • [Utilities] HS Image based lighting v4

    This plugin will load cubemaps in "/abdata/plastic/cubemaps" folder, loaded cubemaps are used as ambient source and reflection probe. You can delete those cubemaps in the "HoneySelect\abdata\map" folder now.

    The new version also support chara maker and H scenes

    How to use

    1. install all the dependency
    2. put the dll into "HoneySelect\Plugins" folder
    3. download cubemaps, and put them into "/abdata/plastic/cubemaps" folder
    4. Press F5 to load the window.

    How do you load the cubemaps?

      Nvm, I figured it out. If anyone is having trouble with loading the cubemaps you need to first extract the ZIP file of the cubemaps provided by plasticmind. When you downloaded all the cubemaps they're all in Zip format. Once extracted, you would need to copy them in your Honey Select main folder. I hope this helps out.

        Hi there, plasticmind I found an issue with your mod. Apparently, the tool window texts are too big and causes to be clipped out. Can you fix this, thanks!

          Okay, 1.1 is working well! I think that solved the issue with the big text being clipped in you windows tool.

        All dependances are met I've run IPA yet the cube maps do not appear in item>base menu and the F5>popup window is empty. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm using v1.1

          I can't find the specfic version number for Studio Neo but the version of the main HS application is v1.20. They were both installed at the same time without extra updating after installation

          Ah ok- I did not realise you meant a plugin- thought you meant 'Studio Neo addon' as StudioNeo being an addition to HS. All is explined, thank you. Working very well and very realisitic looking- adds another dimension to Neo. Really great work.

        is it only support Style experiment_3 ?
        Normally, I used GraphicSetting Preset_3 but when I press F5 Menu window it's error
        and if I change back to experiment_3 then press F5 it's work fine

          Yes, preset_3 is not supposed to use with LRE

        Is there any chance to load same hdri's from maps category and use them as backplates in tandem with IBL's for better compositing ? then we will be able to zoom in and zoom out environment.

        You are a god plastic, your mods are amazing, fucking photo realistic, I like the linear rendering experiment, is there any difference between linear and physics based rendering?

          Wow this mod looks really amazing! But for some reason it's not working for me... I have all the dependencies and everything. 4k sking diffuse pack, LRE, IPA, and studioneo addon. But when I press F5 nothing's happening. even the cubemaps aren't showing up... But all the other plugins like shortcut mod, moviemaker, and ggmod are working fine. I have ver 1.20 and have the 06/22 update. Am I missing something?

            @SuperHentaiMan Yeah so I applied plasticmind's latest LRE ver 2.2 and with that everything seems to be working fine now. thanks a lot man! I was hesitant to install that before because there were some people saying that it darkens everything, but with the graphic patch and that, it looks more gorgeus than ever! plasticmind thanks for all your mods! I probably wouldnt enjoy the game as much as I do without them.

          v1.3 released

          1. Improve UI;
          2. Add camera fov control;
          3. Add default directional light control;
          4. Add more tone mapping control;
          5. Add a "Load optimal settings" button (may not just work for you);
          6. Error code will be logged in output_log.txt

          Error code
          1 = HDR is not enabled (will automatically be fixed)
          2 = Can't find HS Studio Neo Addon
          4 = Can't find 4K diffuse pack or the version is too old
          8 = Curve is not set to 2 in the Style preset

            Just a heads up- afrer installing v1.3 found that lights no longer iluminate the character. Maps and objects are though.

                v2.0 comes in two kinds of UI layout, the basic layout has already covered all the functions you need, while advanced layout is for debug purpose











                The recommended workflow is:

                Code:
                                                                  ┌───── Auto mode ───── Use middle Grey to adjust brightness
                Load a cubemap ───── Pick an optimal setting  ────┤
                                                                  └───── Manual mode ───── Use Camera exposure to adjust brightness
                When you're doing backlighting photography, adjust the two default directional light
