Hmm. Not a single title grabs me at first glance. Even all the sequels are from disappointing shows. Well, I expect there will be some pleasant surprises mixed in. They can't all be as generic as they look. Can they?

That Joker Game looks interesting, provided it isn't going to be a f*g service parade.

Phoenix Wright is getting an anime? that's gonna get some major hype.

Shounen ashibe? wait, this series is OLD man .. well, okay, somewhat .. I realize that calling it old is calling ME ancient.

The Netoge no Yome thing looks like it's gonna be more chuunibyou nonsense .. really, I don't understand what is that you guys like about a girl that goes around RPing nonstop.

Koutetsujou no Kabaneri looks pretty interesting, early 90s art style with what seems to be good animation, will be interested in how many episodes they can keep that up.

It's not chuunibyou, she doesn't behave like she believes she has video game powers in real life, it's that she's a recluse who actively rejects real life and can only interact with people online (and she's only able to interact with them in real life once she knows what their online identity is). If it wasn't presented as a comedy, it would've been a psychological drama about a girl struggling with severe net addiction and crippling social anxiety.

Hmm. First impressions of what I've seen so far.

Crane Game Girls - Looks like a High School project done by people who have no future in the industry. Silly humor with very low production values all around.

Bakuon!! - K-On with motorcycles and racy humor. Looks pretty but feels shallow.

Boku no Hero Academia - Feels like a bandwagon show with silly super powers and absurd action. Be nice if it were funnier.

Bungou Stray Dogs - I easily predicted every main plot point and my inner fujoshi isn't surfacing. Nice production values, but the writing seems weak and the characters aren't interesting.

Endride - Geez. I was joking when I said to steal the magic crystal from the top secret government project. Another 'Look, Ma, I got super powers and am off to fight monsters in another dimension' show. Doesn't seem to have much to offer that you haven't seen before.

Flying Witch - An actually decent slice of life with occult themes and quirky humor type show.

Gakusen Toshi Asterisk 2 - Dunno why this got extended, but it hasn't gotten any better. Or worse, but it's pretty generic.

Ace Attorney - I was kind of curious about this, but it seems to be about making stuff up and spouting it with a confident attitude in order to convince the judge your steaming pile smells better than the other guy's. Not funny enough to be a comedy, and too dumb to succeed as anything else, in my opinion.

Haifuri/High School Fleet. - Another bandwagon show that could use a better writer. Looks pretty, but makes your head hurt if you think about it.

Hundred - Yet another generic battle academy show with all the stereotypes checked. Could be going somewhere interesting, but not a lot of early promise it'll break out of the mold.

JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken - The Darby the Gambler arc was the high point of the franchise. Been mostly coasting ever since. Not bad, but nothing really different, either.

Joker Game - First episode looked pretty good. Hopefully, it'll be devious and intelligent, rather than clever and gimmicky, as it moves forward.

Koutetsujou no Kabaneri - Didn't start too impressively. Humanity besieged by monsters and trying hard to go extinct. Might climb out of the rut, but doesn't look promising.

Kuma Miko - Kind of bland slice of life with a talking bear. A couple cute moments, but mostly didn't stand out much.

Mayoiga - A bunch of losers run away from their problems and want to start over. If only they, themselves, weren't their biggest problems. And they seem to be the victims of some creepy conspiracy. I suspect it's going to be pretty uninteresting, but it might prove me wrong.

Netoge no Yome - I know I watched it, but I barely remember what it was about. Not a good sign.

Pan de Peace! - Moeblobs. It's short and has some yuri subtext, so I might sit through more of it, but there isn't much to stimulate your brain here.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu - Another trapped in a game type series. Hasn't this hard core gamer ever played a game with save points before? Hard to tell if this is supposed to be some sort of dark comedy, or what. Might turn out better than it starts, if they develop the plot in a good way.

Sakamoto desu ga? - An incredibly vain guy acts incredibly cool, and everybody worships him. Except everybody who is also vain or envious. Those just try to make him look uncool and fail miserably, getting won over to the cult in the end. If this plot device is all there is, I can't see why anybody would want to sit through it for more than an episode or two.

Seisen Cerberus - Fantasy battle anime. Another one I could barely keep track of. Gather the holy relics to defeat the Armageddon dragon and look after some thieving urchins in your spare time. Didn't grab me.

Shounen Maid - Not as bad as I expected. Sort of like Hayate no Gotoku, serious drama style. While the fujoshi will like it, the yaoi subtext is pretty light and shouldn't bother most people.

Sousei no Onmyouji - Yet another super exorcist who's afraid of his awesome power and needs a cute girl to shame him into using it, while evil spirits go around eating people all over the place. Wasn't awful, but wasn't anything new, either.

Super Lovers - More yaoi than I'm up for. Pretty standard guy-guy romance stuff, from the look of it.

Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge - World's laziest guy has his weird buddy who admires his laziness carry him around because walking a few steps is too much effort. Complains a lot about the woes of inadequate muscular development and zero stamina. I seriously don't see the appeal of this.

Unhappy♪/Anne Happy - Elite school has a special class to rehabilitate losers. Another show I don't really see the appeal of. Looks nice, but isn't especially funny, and the characters aren't especially interesting, either.

So far, a lot of genre staples and not too many standouts, making it a pretty disappointing season.

Oh well, you beat me to it so I guess I'll just hop on and if I don't comment on a series, well, then I obviously did not feel like watching it, most likely ever:

Crane Game Girls - No objections, it kinda reminded me of JK Meshi! from the last two season which I just watched a bit more of because I must have gone mad, I would not be surprised if it was by the same studio or something... and indeed, both are from Kyotoma.

Bakuon!! - I quite liked K-On! I don't quite like that one nearly as much.

Boku no Hero Academia - Did not watch but thought about: My prejudice, well, seem kinda right: Yet another Shounen, for Shounen, by eternal Shounen.

Endride -Did not give up on that yet though it's not like I have seen the 2nd episode yet. My expectations ain't high but I am still interested... though not enough to actually watch the 2nd episode right now.

              Flying Witch - Agree'd

Gakusen Toshi Asterisk 2 - I did barely watch the first season...

Ace Attorney - I love and hate it, the problem for me is that the premise is "Guilty until proven innocent"...

Haifuri - Give me back my expectations for a soothing slice of life on the sea! (and indeed, my head hurts not only because of that)

Koutetsujou no Kabaneri - Awful first impression, can't see how it could get any better

Kuma Miko - Liked it, nothing more, nothing less and that can be quite enough for a soothing experience

Netoge no Yome - For anyone who could not guess how this'd turn out and who the cast is on the first glance, well, welcome to anime, this one will be your guide... and at least it seems interesting enough I guess, for me at least.

Pan de Peace! - It is simply to short to recharge my soothing-meter

Sakamoto desu ga? - If it repeats over and over again, I am out, it's as simple as that

Shounen Maid - Welp, I am curious on where this will head

              Sousei no Onmyouji - Agree'd

Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge - I am not really compelled by it either

Unhappy♪/Anne Happy - Happiness is one of the topics themes I am quite fond of, I found it amusing enough and that crush was also something else. Soothing to say the least, hopefully it will be more but not less, I'd rather not have to potentially soothing anime depress me

Edit: Forgot about Kiznaiver and Ragnastrike Angels for valid reasons, the latter is with 30s per Episode a PV or rather 12 of them while Kiznaiver's "On the Genealogy of Bullying" was pure BS

I am a cream whip, nothing more and nothing less.
Oh, and I am a cream whip that made a List of CM3D2 Mods [Always WIP and totally NSFW], mind you.

Just sat through the first two episodes of Kiznaiver, and can't say I'm particularly impressed. Their rational for this project is marginal, at best. There are a vast number of reasons for conflict, and almost all of them are more significant than the selected ones. And there are a vast number of solutions, and quite a lot of them are better than this method. Least common denominator stuff is actually extremely unfair to everybody who isn't the stupidest, slowest, most unethical, or whatever. And many conflicts need to be resolved. Reducing the methods for resolving them simply leads to a need to invent new methods, which can easily be far worse than the previous options. And as can be seen here, they are actually creating conflict where none existed before. And what's up with confusing the seven deadly sins with some random one dimensional stereotypes? Anyway, I tend to dislike faux psychological stuff where they just make up whatever and try to sound like it makes sense. Or those utterly subjective tests where the questions are some variant of 'I'm thinking of a number between one and a lot, and you have to guess it.' Even if the only objective is to back the victims into a corner where they panic and agree to do whatever you want in order to make it stop. Doesn't help that nobody is very interesting, either. Could get better, but doesn't seem promising.

I’m going with Gyakuten Saiban this season, as I’m a fan of the franchise. So far, it’s okay, but it doesn’t translate well onto animation. The scenes doesn’t look as funny as when presented as a visual novel with its narrow view on the world. I recommend the games. Also, judging from the opening, they’re targeting small children with it.
