  • Lol force projection

Belgians lose entire armored company on transport...litterally.

How exactly does one expect to go on peacekeeping missions with no ability to transport it's land forces past hiring shady dudes to transport your stuff?

Only 4 soldiers as guards. That's riduculous...

Geesh, even an armored vehicle in the US gets 2 armed guards and that is only for 1 vehicle! The hell are they thinking?

but in the U.S. we don't need more than 2 guards per vehicle.. because we use our own boats and planes and if you try to steal stuff from one of those you catch a face full of lead..

The problem is that it was shipped on a container ship from ukraine and the captain docked at a hostile port.

it's just plain stupid on the UN's part.

Correct. If it was a US force it'd be on something like an LHD. Unfortunately many European forces have very little force projection capabilities and hence, most lease Ukrainian transports to move their equipment. Canada suffers from similiar problems, which is why they ditched their Leopard tanks for LAV IIIs. They had to lease transports to take their tanks overseas and that just didn't work very well.

It's kind of ironic too. The UN 'peacekeeping' force armed insurgents.

Lol, UN deploying only four guards to guard a lot of military vehicles, and now they go missing with the vehicles. Maybe those four guards must be some extreme elite guards.

They could have gotten away with it...if the guards were all clones of Chuck Norris.

Roundhouse kick the thieves in the face!

If they were using 4 clones of Chuck Norris, they wouldn't have needed the vehicles in the first place.
