That movie the best CG and CGI to date. I was in amazement just looking at it and rewinding certain parts to see how the lighting worked. The story was derpy and social politically flawed (like it made humanity look worthless) within 2 minutes in. Like it was so derpy it lost scope of itself... freakin who cares about Los Angeles? Why is it the center of the world in this particular story? 2154, I expect some radical cultural changes that look far different from 2010.

Yeah Oblivion was randomly legit... and Tom Cruise always plays: Jack Everyman. I do not understand why. (Jack Reacher...lol) I liked its simple story and its vehicle designs. Jack's real wife was hot too.

I just saw Speed Racer on TnT... did not know that was a live action movie... missed that announcement.
It was the strangest movie I have ever seen. Just CG bonanza that had sections with perfect lighting and sections with THE WORST LIGHTING OF ALL TIME... where objects just looked shinny for no reason and the refraction was backwards from the actors.

The captured SR's wackiness but then the actor tried to put their own spin on it... which was a terrible idea with lines like, "Its time to pinch off these turds"... like dumbfounding... inappropriate. The way the cars raced and fought each other was just... really funny to watch and over the top. At first I was under the impression that every crash was fatal, it took me 20 good minutes to figure out they were ejecting into jelly or something.

Spridal flips some guy off... completely inappropriate for the target audience... Trixy and Speed's love interest was strange. Not sure if Speed even liked girls in SR, he was like asexual. The past they made up for speed was just stupid but it fit the movies stupid plot.

It was fun to watch but then they jumped off the rails they established and tried to implement some sort of values in there... that were interpreted like "Johny Football" wants to be a star. Just loosing it in a vague and misaligned serious atmosphere.

Yeah I've no interest in watching anything by the Warchowski's these days. I'm sure their upcoming sci fi projects will only serve to reinforce my negative impressions. Anyway just finished Dredd, and earlier I wrapped up Man of Steel. Also saw 100 Bloody Acres and Thale over the weekend. Dang Thale is such a tragedy, I mean sure the ending is happy and all but still for anyone who is into mimikko / animal ear girls (well her ears were normal but she had a sexy tail) it's painful to watch. I still recommend it though. 100 Bloody Acres is awesome, like Dale and Tucker VS Evil but with an aussie twist. Got a kick out of Dredd, probably would have seen it in theatres if not for the 3-D. Man of Steel / Superman elicited a shrug. I'll say it's slightly better than the typical Marvel junk Disney is pumping out, but that's not difficult.

Yesterday I watched Edge of Tomorrow.

I'm a fan and I'm always interested in those things that play with time (Groundhog day, The Girl who leapt through time, Steins Gate...) and I have to say it's pretty cool. At least the main setting and plot is very interesting so I was highly satisfied with the movie.

Went to the cinema with my best friend and his wive and watched How to Train Your Dragon 2 last weekend.

I think it improved on the very minor flaws I could find with the first one. Mainly the fact that all adults were useless and had to be shown how the world works by a fifteen year old...
It also took some brave dramaturgical decisions and is not afraid to let it's cast grow up and face new problems.

My friend liked it as well, but his wife disliked the plot and only was like "Whooooo! Dragons!" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Though the last movie I watched before that was the Lego Movie, that's pretty hard competition.

Godzilla 2014 was the last movie I watched, it was pretty good (me being a Godzilla fan of course) Thought there was a little too much focus on the Militia and Government than the King of Monsters himself, but overall it was pretty good.

Just watched Guardians of the Galaxy yesterday. Mostly liked it. Had some laughs but some things were a bit underwhelming. For me it was a 7.5 movie.
PS. That after credit scene wasn´t anything special but it showed....nah won´t spoil it for you.

The moment when you realise the tagline for that movie was 'One last ride' and yet they release Fast 8 again...

I saw the Warcraft movie a couple weeks ago. Not bad, interesting take on the movie. Some things changed and somethings kept core. Still a nice "Breaking the Ice" introduction for Blizzard bring one of their franchises to life on the big screen. Today I saw Finding Dory. Again, not bad. It was entertaining enough and had some solid humor in it. I don't think it was better than Finding Nemo but applause none the less. Looking forward to the other Pixar projects more than Finding Dory.

How was the new Teenage Ninja Turtle Movie? I thought about going to see it but wasn't exactly sure. I waited for previous one to come out so I could rent it. Is it worth going to see in the theater?

I just watched "The Nice Guys" with Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling. It is a mystery/crime movie.

The movie was freaking hilarious. What a great take on how classic mystery/crime movies were back in the 70s. The performance of both Crowe and Gosling were amazing. They had great chemistry and you really believe the characters that they are portraying. Both play comedy rolls but Gosling is more of the comic relief character and Crowe is more of the action character. The action in the movie was really good too and did not disappoint.

The plot may seem sort of cheesy but it works, it works so well that you are caught into the movie the whole time. You think it is going one way or one thing is going to happen only to find out that it goes in a different direction. It looks like it will be a new cult classic. I highly recommend this movie if you want to have a good time for 2 hours. I will buy this movie when it is released on Blu-ray/DvD.

Killing Joke. You can skip the 1st 28 minutes and not miss a single thing. The comic begins after that part.

The Raid 2. Just freakin' awesome! The fighting scenes...damn! The story wasn't too bad, either. But of course this movie is all about action!

In my opinion, redemption was better.
But don't kill me for saying that.

Has anyone watched 'A Dog's purpose'?
The movie was given a low rating on IMDB due to clams against animal abuse but I don't believe it and think it deserves a better rating.
For all those who have watched it, I can recommend 'A stray cat named Bob' or the classic 'Hachiko".
