  • unable to upload gif larger than 1MB in the gallery

I know I used to be able to upload large files, but I just noticed this week I can't do it, and it's frustrating.
I know the limit was jacked up to 10 mb, but right now I try to upload gif larger than 1 mb, it gets thrown into the image queue

and every time I clock on that image queue, I get blank page. what is going on?

I guess its the same problem I posted earlier.

    I just tried another 1.25mb, it's still `queued`.

I was wondering if it's because of the number of frames for the thumbnails to generate or something, but I never bothered to experiment

alright I just confirmed, it is indeed the number of frames that limits the gif we can upload.

when I uploaded a gif with 55 frames it failed, but it worked when I reduced it to 42 frames.
I am guessing the site limited it around 50 frames or so.
that's pretty sad man, lots of great gifs need at least 90 frames or so to show all the awesomeness.

I've tried swf with the same problem. I guess there is a limit on the cpu time per process per user. If the php script took too long to operate then it will be stopped.
