What screen resolution are you using in 2016?

I was getting an error the other day, not sure if its still relevant but it wasn't letting me post. I'm assuming if this gets seen then the issue is resolved. Figured id send this anyway, just in case it happens to someone else.

Got this error when updating one thread but did it again and haven't found any problem. Just in case I leave it here.

Just writing a long post for testing purpose, since any post longer than 8-9 words gave me an error Yesterday.
          Second line
          Third line

Edit: seems to have worked fine this time.
Edit 2: and even the edit funcion works correctly now. Couldn't use it at all Yesterday.

What does it mean that I can't subscribe to the SBPR Mod Release?

I want to Subscribe since we are now unable to view how many threads there are unlike before. If we can have that back, we can overlook this one.

The error message I received is:

            Error:
Sorry, you are not authorized to view this page (no_permission)
            Pudding!

That's odd since when I pressed the give infraction button, I get almost the exact same message I got when trying to access the staff section.

I had the same problem yesterday. So I repeated it today and the mail never reached me. Then I used another address and received the mail about 20 minutes later.

Next test, I will use my old mail address again. Result will be added to this post soon.

                  Edit:
I tested my old mail address and that didn't work. So I switched to the other and immediately got the mail. It seems that some mail hosts have HF's account blacklisted.

I still have a lot of caching issues. It includes :
                    • Having threads that says "#N responses" but when checking the thread, there's only a few replies that is way lower than the #N that is displayed (meaning thread cache is outdated).
                    • Having threads incorrectly reporting the author and date of the last post (outdated, again).
                    • In the threads mentioned above, the timestamp for the last post is incorrectly displayed, but the thread still displays "where it should" when displayed chronologically (meaning the timestamp entry in the database is correct).
                    • Having posts that don't display the modification you make (the cache don't refresh after edit). Still, when you edit the post again, all the modifications are still there : what is displayed simply doesn't match what is actually saved in the database.
So, could you please double-check your config files (especially if you're using something like Varnish) and board settings as well as rebuild the cache and post counters ? It's going to make the board throttle a little bit for a few hours, but it should fix some of those issues.

Just a potential bug that appeared for me after changing PW. Reloading the main front page to login instead downloaded a hongfire.php file for some reason to my browser, then promptly deleted it. Dunno why, or what, but just thought I'd post it here, in case anybody else has had that happen.

Well I have had no problems with changing my password in settings, I did not even need an email to do it. But I still need to be logged out to see the latest posts, the option is not available for me while I am logged in.

Hey Hongfire, is it the right time to create a Suggestion thread? It's a whole new version of the forum and some of the old features are gone now. Those features made them easier to navigate the site and other things.

I don't know if this is already reported, but the site is very slow.
