        Dell Dimension 4100
        Windows 2000 Pro
        PentiumIII 866
        384MB RAM
        60GB WD Caviar
        250GB WD Caviar w/ 8MB Cache
        8X CD-RW Drive
nVidia GeForceFX 5600 Ultra 128MB (AGP8X, but mobo can only hande 4X lol)
I've upgraded it a few times through its lifetime, but this is about as far as it's gonna go.

My system's about 4 years old now, going on 5.
Sad part is, it's faster than some of my friends' brand new (1-2 year) computers because they just don't take care of them.

          Nothing else in it.

The pics are old. Omiokane received 2 x 120 gig WD SE from Wirbelwind, when I upgraded to the Raptors. Wirbelwind got a new side panel with the fans. I also cut a larger hole on top for the 120mm radiator and fan. Also the liquid cooling uses distilled water, Innovatek fluid, and FrozenCPU UV waterdye now, instead of the Swiftech green UV fluid.

Edit: Magi and Wirbelwind run on Win2k Pro and Omiokane runs Win2k Server with AD (Ani-Network Domain).

@ home I use Logitech z-640 5.1 surround speakers, and at LAN parties I use my Plantronics headsets

Oh and the blue light coming from the card slots is a fan card made by Vantec that helps with air flow around your cards. Mine is under my video card due to me overclocking it.

I seed all torrents for one week, unless I'm playing a CoD match, or Guild Wars.
If so then I will make up that time by extending the seeding period.
If you wish for a reseed please PM me.
If I don't get the request then I will delete the .torrent.

              Thanks!

                well, just found this thread..
My setup is starting to age, I need a new Video Card for Xmas..

                Motherboard: Abit IC7 Max3
                Proccessor: Intel p4 northwood 2600 800fsb
                Heatsink: stock
                RAM: 1.5 GB pc3200 (2 sticks)
                Video Card: MSI FX5900XT-VTD128
Western Digital 160GB 7200 RPM SATA
Western Digital 300GB 7200 RPM 16mb cache SATA

                Optical Drives: Sony CD-RW Combo
                Case: Antec SX1045B2

I so need to do something with my case as its 1) messy as hell and 2) bland
Anyone have any advice on cleaning this crap up? I have a cooldrive 4 that should be here friday to help with the 300GB sata which stays warm all the time ... I don't know it that will help or make things worse..

Sleeve all cables, throw in some cold cathodes, replace that heatsink and fan (stock, WTF!), Put your hdd in backwards, push that sata cable out the way, get rid of that fan card, get new led 80mm fans, pull everything out the PSU and paint the cover, remove everything out of the case and paint the interior, etc.

You can also think of getting a new case. The Chenming 601 is a great modding case, but if you don't mod it, you might as well have got a beige case.

I wish I had a camera to show you pictures of my mods, but I'll tell you the specs and try to describe the mods...

                      My fileserver:

It's just a black case with some red watercooling running through that holds a full 10TB and +/- 5GB RAM, for the rest nothing special in this one

                      My gaming PC:

This one is looking the best, it has a black case in the shape of an demonic skull, with "vains" of green watercooling and some weird tentacles/wires connecting the back of the skull with the neck and in the eyes two lcd screens who make some fractal like green movement when the pc is on.

It holds 3.8 GHz, an ATI X800 XT, 7.1 sound, +/- 4GB RAM and is connected to the fileserver for the hadrdick/space

                      My modeling pc:

This one is rather basic, because I don't like to get distracted while working, just a black case.

It holds 4 3.8 GHz processors, a custom made motherboard to process that calculating power, another ATI X800 XT, 5.1 sound and +/1 10GB of RAM

                      My drawing pc:

                      I just finished this one.

It actually is a huge touch screen on which I can draw. Now this one looks like an pillar on which a screen is located, all aroudn the pillar are kevlar tubes in which fish swim

This one is pretty basic, an 1.6 GHz processor, a radeon 9600 (125mb), an onboard soundcard and 512 MB RAM.

                      Entertainment PC:

                      Working in progress

                      and a G5 powerbook

What are the actual specs of these machines? I mean, product manufacturer wise. I mean 3.8 ghz P4s aren't available (you'd have to be OC'ing like a lower clocked P4), X800XT PCIe graphics cards are about as common as a unicorn, a quad mobo for the LGA775 processor, from my knowledge, is non-existant, and also how did you jerry rig your machine to accept the multiple hard drives to accomodate 10TB of hdd space or accomodate quad 3.8 ghz P4s with an X800XT card.

I'm sorry, but for a person that has built these machines, you can't even give us the exact make/model of each single part. I know right now, from the top of my head, I can give you the full specs of my system and each mod I've done to it.

You can always just disable the onboard graphics and get your own video card. That's if the mobo is capable of using an AGP graphics card. If not, you're stuck with a Geforce FX5200 or a Radeon 9200SE using PCI.
