Lol I think got the rough humor of it even though I don't understand it fully(at all really, haha). And is that the drawing you did? You wouldn'nt mind posting a full blow image of it would you? Haha was thinking about making a "Draw and Draft Workshop" thread but wasn't sure if it's right or a good idea. I tried "Creative Corner e Youkoso" but, zero response. And I think I can't find the image in the member art's gallery area I think. So many pop-ups got me wored out. Can ya PM it or post it?

Dynamic Signature is a signature with content that will change by itself. Mine would show the current song that my foobar2k is playing. (It's the purple one in the older post not the one I'm using right now)

That pic of the current sig is not drawn by me, I think its funny so I give a thumb up to it. The original picture is not found. I would pm you if I got it back.

if you have photoshop, try the blending option if you want to highlight the fonts
also change the color a bit may help
also the brightness is a too high

Ether - 9.9/10 - 9.4/10 - Text needs more work, doesn't blend well with the BG, IMO.
xaero - 9.9/10 - 9.1/10 - You need to make you sig into a gif file for it to be transparent.

michel000 - 9/10 - 9.5/10 - Border is a little uneven from top to bottom. The double 'M' was also unnessesary IMO.
npdcb - 9/10 - 8.7/10 - Grainy all around the sig especially around the text. You can save the picture in a higher quality to help make it look better.

i guess i am kinda new to judging signatures and avatars, but i've been making banners and other stuff for a while..

Here are some rules to follow when making a nice sig, avatar, banner..

1. Make sure your pictures are proportional. Do not resize ANYTHING without keeping shift down. You MUST keep aspect ratio. This is very key, it makes things just look more refined.
2. Do not resize to a lower resolution and then bring it back up. Everytime you resize, your image will resample to the canvas resolution. Thus, if you bring it down, then back up, you will see that you picture has lost quality. Some of you might have this problem some might not. I will explain in 3.
3. ALL, and I mean EVERYSINGLE picture that appears on your monitor, i dun care if you have a 40" LCD/TV monitor, your computer screen can only display WEB pictures at 72 dpi. Always set your canvas to this resolution, for you will be saving your self a lot of space and your pictures will be at their optimal size and quality. You cannot make it any better than 72. The web graphic will just NOT allow it. Now, this is the reason why if you resize to something small and bring it back up, you will see pixelation, cuz the image will resample to 72, if you had it at maybe 120 dpi, you might not run into this problem, but your picture is just gna a lot larger than it should be.
4. Color, Pick your colors that match. Make sure that you aren't color blind, dont clash colors and try to keep everything pleasant to the eye.
5. Cutting and Magic Wanding a portion of the picture out and pasting it somewhere else. This is very key, for a lot of people like doing it. If you do a bad job and really dont have time to make a good cut, fix the edges with a blur or smudge it. SO when you paste it, at least the edge colors will blend and it looks like it belongs.
6. Text, CHOOSE your text WISELY. Dont always go for the fancy "Oh thats a nice font text" go for something that FITS the theme and is READABLE. The text color ALSO must match or contrast the background nicely. Much like how orange text goes well with a black background. and all text cannot seem grainy, you probably have anti-aliasing OFF which is bad, turn it on for readablilty, or if you dont know how to do that. Use the blur tool and smooth and blur the edges, its the least you can do.
7. Borders, if you like borders, make sure your borders are 1px unless intended otherwise. and make sure the color blends
