Rules (similar to Asuki):
- You have to rate a sig
- you can rate multiple ones
- Don't just rate, comment (constructive criticism is preffered)
- Better if you have an image sig when you post
- rating system is out of 10.

Sorry, my mistake. But it can be converted to a greyscale GIF (like the attached) without losing much information.Originally Posted by shinyo
One way to learn Photoshop's companion program ImageReady is to use it to tweak someone else's animated gif. This was what I did. I was able to go from tweaking someone else's animated gif to making my own animate gif from scratch in a few hours.

What program are you using shinyo?Originally Posted by shinyo
I did it in Image ready.
Under imageready, there is an option called Optimization. Under the "Windows" tab, which is next to the "View" tab, you'll see something called "Optimize." Click it, and it should either open up a new window, or take you to an already existing one. Now in your work area, the place where your image is, you'll see 4 tabs on the top: "Original," "Optimized," "2-up," and "4-up." These tabs allow you to see the file size of your optimized image, how it'll look once Imageready exports it, and other stuff. If I were you, I would choose "4-up" because it allows you to compare your original and 3 different optimization settings. Play around with optimization, and soon you'll get the hang of it. Of course, nothing's perfect and sometimes the only way to cut the size is just to just the amount of frames you're using. Hope this helps.
Hm, managed to get it to 140kb, but still no 100, damn this rule.
Anyway, we'll see what time brings : P
Here is the image, it's my sig, I added smth that fills right to it.
Hmm...maybe you can lower the amount of colors you're using; the bottom one uses 19 colors with perceptual reduction. The only major change I see is that the picture lacks any red...oh, and it's 100kb

Ow thx : ] Little grainy but it weights those 100kb.
