AliceSoft have released a benchmarking tool (no gameplay no nothing, just 3D graphics display of several characters rendered by the engine) to let you people test if your machines can handle Rance IX. If your framerate is 22 or more in a given level of detail, you should be okay for that configuration. This benchmarking tool has also been TL'd in English by The Rance Translation Team.
V2.00 [Sendspace] thanks to Pyottl[LATEST UNSUPPORTED] Adds 4 new maps and makes Amitos & Elena playable characters [NG+ only?].
CAUTION:v2.00 is INCOMPATIBLE with v1.00-1.01 saves. You must start a new game. Only CG/scene/music and clear data for NG+ are retained. If you're in the middle of a playthrough, finish it first and only then install v2.00.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION INFORMATION:
Spoiler
NAW DICE NAWP.
This space is reserved for whenever such development occurs, but honestly, don't expect this to happen for years.
For now, an interface translation has been released on 4chan.
H-code for text hooking:[DON'T USE AGTH; USE LATEST ITH INSTEAD]
Furthermore, it seems different codes are working/failing for different people, possibly depending on OS/ITH version... By "failing" I mean causing the game to crash at certain points where "ーー" characters (two successive prolongation marks) are used. Please try them all one by one to see which one works for you. The first one works in my personal experience using ITH 2.3 (2011.07.09) on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, but it doesn't for some.
Code:
/HB-C*@56FE3D
/HB-8*@56FE61
/HB-C*@56FE3F
Above only works for dialogue, and not for anything else like options/tutorial/mission objectives/item description/encyclopedia etc.)
One warning to be given to all is that this game contains optional netorare. In certain maps, if a main heroine (Kanami, Senhime etc.) is KO'd in battle, the player is allowed to view post-battle events corresponding to both cases - one where the heroine safely escapes from the captives, and the other where she is tortured, raped and likely mindbroken by the Helman captors, resulting in her bad end. The game, however, can be continued thereafter assuming the "good" escape route. But be mentally prepared for this possibility - it's upto to you to view these bad ends or skip them altogether by choosing "escape", but if you're aiming for 100% clearance, you'll likely need to view them.

Note that each such stat shown in terms of percentage will drop by 10% every time they trigger...
What is a stat that decreases like HP, and decrease even if char evades the attack?
Critical component of the damage, when a critical hit is triggered, will hit you even if you dodge/parry. Ignores armor as well.

Seems to boost exp gain from kills. Also a +50% persistence (nebari) boost for that battle.
Most things are explained in the manual.

Actually, can someone give description to 3rd, 4th and 6th stats in second (right) column in upper screenshot?
#3: Parry percentage. One of the 2 stats that can completely negate a physical attack (that's not critical).
#4: Armor rating percentage. Reduces physical damage by this percentage (not the critical component).
#6: Chance to survive at 1 HP upon being hit by a death blow (まだまだ! will flash over char's head in red when this triggers).
Each of them, upon triggering, will drop by 10% for the battle.

1) "Can use this after moving"
2) "Press to use skill without big animation"
Something like that.

Thanks a lot, skipping animation will prove useful.
Censuur it's similar to the one I asked about, the only difference is you can actually win it. I assume you mean the one on the green technofield.
You need to reach the end of the maze without being eaten by the wall, or 3 enemies reaching the goal. takes a while but eventually you reach a semiboss monster (the green one with big eyes) and when you kill him it ends in victory.
Neither of those things is what's killing me though, both characters are alive, the wall is at 0/3 and my characters have a decent distance from the wall itself even.
The only other thing I can think of is maybe Rance and Russian need to remain close together? Or is there something with the green obstructions that the other monsters attack?
*edit* Turns out you lose if Rance ever goes below 50% hp and you finish the map by walking on the last row on the map...
Anyone here able to tell me what what I need for those two missions to get the monkey orb?
Can't seems to find out.
Thanks !
The second one is you should not focus on the first monster on the map. After 1 or 2 turns, keeps on killing the random populated ghost until one of the ghost drop monkey orb.

I stuck here too. From what they are talking in first 2 turns, they need to do 100% on something. It did mention damage, but I am lost.
