I just hope that "sexfriend" is a legitimate relationship status, as it seems to imply. In the first game, there was a "sexfriend" status, but it would quickly move on to "love" status.

Exclusive, like they're intended for male character. What we've got are female hair styles that also work for males.

I think @HomeMate was the only Illusion game before AA1 to let you customize a male character at all, and with AA2 Illusion is finally beginning to realize that decent levels of customization for player characters makes for an all around more involved experience.

Citing TEATIME again, since they were a studio with lots of ideas and not so much development acumen. Their models all shared a skeleton (and without AA2's freaky hips, too!), and H animations could use any two models, regardless of which bits they had (even female penetrating male!). But too much customization meant that, aside from the hips, body parts rarely if ever made contact in the right places, not to mention the really awful clipping.

They have done two very specific things with AA2's male character models that suggest a similar direction. One, an Illusion first, they have the exact same skeleton as the female models, allowing them to use all of the female animations no matter how illogical. In past Illusion games, the male models would revert to rest position if you tried to play a female character animation, making simply sharing animations impossible. Two, sadly not a first, the male models have the same body proportions as the female models, which allows animations meant for say, a male and a female, to still make contact in the right places using two male, or two female, models.

All that, plus the inclusion of anal sex positions, leads me to conclude that there was at least some intent somewhere down the line to seriously include it as an option this time, since, with those two issues covered, the amount of original assets required to accomplish TEATIME levels of half-assed yaoi would be fairly minor (some copied code and a couple button labels at most). At the very least it is a noticeable change in Illusion's asset structure. As someone who basically never used the girl-on-girl H mode (even playing female PCs), I can say it's pretty easy to stay away from modes you have no interest in, and if you do find you keep triggering yaoi H scenes by mistake, well, you have a bit of self-evaluation to do...

Long story short, it's a dead horse that gets beaten about once a week around here, but they still have yet to confirm or deny anything. They haven't said yes for sure, but they also haven't really said no, though a certain retroactive edit has been a bit troubling on that point. At any rate, speculation and Illusion games can only ever lead to tragedy.

I think they could easily implement this feature. Like you know that "follow people around" button? Just show us the sex scene if we try to follow people doing it. I think it's quite simple. Let's just hope that they've included "watching" or whatever.

I just noticed something interesting. In this image, top left screenshot, there is an icon that looks like a shadow or something devious. What if this is to stalk or peep on the character while they're changing/showering/having sex? I'm not sure what else a shadow-like icon like that would mean except for doing something without the person knowing.

I may be really slow because I just noticed that, along with Taste, there's no Skill, Sensitivity and Preferences either. So I wonder what exactly determines how well participants will perform in a scene. Probably that's where the Sex Preferences come in.

And adding a little bit to the yaoi conversation. ILLUSION could include yaoi scene in the retail version without worrying about alienating the main audience. Just put an option in the game like "Do you want actual yaoi H scenes? YES or NO." When it's off, it would be like in AA1, two low polygon dudes rubbing against each other in the open world, nothing graphic. Tweaking the animations and adding male sex sounds wouldn't be so bad either considering the profit it would make for them.

I agree with you but think about it this way: the character style is more cartoonish than realistic, so adding unrealistically big boobs to a character isn't that much out of the ordinary.

Interesting observation. I think you're right that it could be something like that, but it could also be for badmouthing others.

@all: Please don't post links to images directly on Illusion's site, but use the mirrored image which can be found at the first post. Posting direct links is bad for these reasons: 1. Illusion might block HF as a referrer, meaning we would have to copy-paste links in the future (like getchu). 2. Some people have a regional/ISP block preventing them from viewing Illusion's site, so they can't participate in the discussion. 3. It's unnecessary load on Illusion servers when we have a mirror already.

To me it looks like some kind of surprise attack button. Maybe rape? Or flipping skirts?

EDIT: actually no, it's probably the grope button. Like the one in the original game.
