It's great to know that it helps! I've recently reinstalled as well and I must say that it was a little cumbersome with the Append Sets, DLC Patch and then the HF Patch. I have always planned combining the two patches so it will be easier, but I think I'll wait a little longer.

So I got a new computer and had some work to do in order to re-install AA2. But not nearly as much as what might have been if it were not for all the people involved in the HF patch. All I have to say thank you so much to all the people that worked on the mods to make our life easier in installing the full potential of awesome Illusion games such as AA2. You have saved me from great pain this day.

I do not find it complicated or difficult, i agree it is bigger.

I think he meant that it's more difficult with higher virtue characters. It's indeed harder to get the heart (or at least get in the pants XD) of a highest virtue character than it was in the first game.

I have found it easier my pc has banged all 21 girls i have in game and no cheater status. I gave the pc the deaf trait all the others have exploitable trait. So i started out by doing the lowest and low virtue girls first, then with the normal, high and highest just wait for them to confess their love a few times and be a couple. Then i use force once done i just keep playing deaf when they ask to be a couple, i have been invited in to the safe areas by the normal trait when they are horny. I am still waiting to see if it happens with high and highest yet. I have 3 other males in game, so i have found it easy. So basically my pc does not have a girlfriend, but plenty of action.

I follow this guide: http://pastebin.com/LNGBZL0K and already done giving my card background and some clothes, I want change pose too but fail, after opened jg2e_00_01_00_00.lst and changed it, my char pose not appear like I want and I have done so many times, I want pose 86 for mature card, number 18

I've been wondering if any of you guys have any skills (or know somebody) modifying the launcher (or analyzing the settings file data\gsd.cfg): I have asked around and haven't found anyone able to help. I'd like to modify the exe file or the settings file to use a resolution higher than 1920x1200. I know there are several users with higher resolution screens that would really like to run the game in native resolution, for instance 2560x1440.

Any ideas?

I wonder why you guys even discuss how hard/easy the game is. It's just like saying building a sand castle is easy.

It can be just as hard as you want (try as a guy to conquer a girl who is lean homo, highest virtue, shy, dislikes guys in a full class with only that one girl and 23 hetero males) or as easy as you want (exploitable, masochistic, any virtue).

It is indeed a remarkable effort that represents many hours of work! It is without question the most complete and up to date first post on HF.

At address 6 and 7 you see differences. Xor them with 0xFFFF, @6 is the lower byte @7 the higher byte of the width. @9 and @a is the xored height. Along with width and height you see a change at @13. The 2 is the index into the resolution table.

whoa!! You got the addresses of the width wrong, but your excellent explanation allowed me to edit my settings file and I can now run the game in 2560x1440!! I really can't thank you enough!!

I've attached my gsd.cfg if anyone else (with 2560x1440 native) wants to give it a try. Bear in mind that any changes to the settings (like windowed->full screen) most probably will mess the file up.
