Seriously, I never see shops that actually sell manga other than newsstands and manga rental shops.

So I assume you also live in HK then? I usually go to Sino Centre in Mong Kok for manga and figurine acquisition. There are also plenty of plastic model shops scattered around Mong Kok, might want to check them out as well if you are into plastic modeling.

Closest Exit is MTR Mong Kok Station Exit E2.
Good hunting.
BTW, as zephyranthez mentioned, English -> Chinese name translations are very crap compared to English -> Japanese. I completely agree with it, but the reason for that is because Chinese is based on symbol combination, hence a limited availability of phonetics, while Japanese does have an alphabet system (Katakana) that allows for good name translations of foreign words.
However, since Chinese, Korean and Japanese share the same ancestry, it is often easier (and also more accurate) to do translations between those languages than say, Japanese -> English. Also, manga is pretty popular in HK and Taiwan, which is why translations come out so fast here compared to the US.
