New server is coming!!

Ordered new server already. Was told it will arrive on Tuesday then would probably take few days to setup and test before we move the site over. Hopefully we can move everything to new server before the Weekend.

Here is the new server specs.

# CPU - Dual Xeon 5410
# Memory - 16GB RAM
# 2x 10k RPM 300GB HDD VelociRaptor western digital
# 1x 7200 RPM 1TB HDD Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB

Can't wait to see this baby in action.

I do hope to see less 500 internal server error.. too much query at one time. Let's just hope that this will solve the problem

Intel® Xeon® Processor L5410 (12M Cache, 2.33 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)

L5410 is better then E5410

Cant wait to see how things behave after the upgrade. What are you going to do with the old server? Relegate it to backup duties, or possibly fail-over?
