The next game by the amazing art and scenario designer Sei Shoujyo has been announced for winter 2009 release! (maybe...2010)

"Starless"

Developed by Empress and to be published by Will-games.

Sei will play the role of both lead scenario (script) writer and artist for this new game, as he has in previous titles Heartwork, Bible Black, Discipline and Cleavage. All famous for his artwork and female domination themes.

Plot goes as...

Protagonist Yukito Sawatari was searching for a summer job and came across a magazine advertisement for a well paid position as a mansions live-in handyman. Quickly contacting the employer, he learned the position was still vacant and sought to secure it.

Traveling deep into the mountains for his new job, Yukito arrived at a palatial mansion surrounded by stately grounds. A place only the richest of the rich could afford; was this to be his new home? The mansions beautiful mistress and her equally beautiful daughters came out to welcome him. However, within that day his expectations turned quickly to bewilderment; then despair...

Upon realizing the truth behind the high salary for a simple handyman's job, it would be too late for poor Yukito…

Joining several other servants at the beck and call of the mansions mistress, Yukito would be tasked with pleasing every perverted whim of her odd family, defining "handyman" in their own twisted terms.

The servants both male and female, are unable to escape the mansion...forced to partake in the unending bizarre play of the family's mad sexual escapades. Will Yukito ever be able to escape the mansion or….

heh well i just read the post and it is great i loved bb and dicipline and now a futa game cool cant wait to play it ...................BTW what is the deal with Sei Shoujyo is he a fan of starless and bible black? too much music if you ask me.

Question: What happen to Empress that Sei used to make Cleavage. Is he going to do more titles under that label?

It appears Sei is currently a "free agent" after leaving Active-soft, so where his next game appears is anybodies guess, though it seems he's focusing his talents mostly with "start-up" companies like Empress and Skunk-works.

I didn't like Empress work of Cleavage is wasn't as good as Bible Black or Discipline of Active Soft's work.

Hopefully Sei's next work is as good as Discipline was.

The whole D-Girl theme alone is a big thumbs up from me.

I think all the games Sei makes will feature some level of "powerful" females dominating men - thats just Sei's style. In the case of Starless i think it will be women dominating women mind you...

Personally I think Cleavage was overall a poor game compared to any of his previous works - HOWEVER it DID represent the key problem in working with Sei - and that is a VERY slow turnover of product from him. So in the case of Cleavage they aimed for shorter game with less content.

There's a running joke amongst Sei fans in Japan that he will only release new games every decade now, because it takes him 1 year to draw 10 pictures. Of course this isn't true, but compared to most hentai artists - he certainly takes a while to produce new content.

Its no wonder he hasn't released any hentai mangas to my knowledge...

In the case of Discipline, it was released only half finished and as case with its last patch - the voice recording was done but the artwork by Sei was not.

I'm sure if the company had finished Discipline properly, it wouldn't have been released until 2006 and from what I understand, Discipline Excellent still won't even come close to what Sei originally scripted in content or planned for its additional/original endings.

I don't understand as to why some other guys can draw for him or with him like an animation studio does. They have several people drawing the anime. One guy alone would take freaking forever.

All they have to do look at the script to know what kind of drawing is require and also have Sei draw some sketches so the other guys can draw it.

Since now they have other drawers for the game why can't they just use Sei's script? It's not like they need Sei for that since the script is already done. Though it won't match as to what Sei own perspective drawings would have been but at least the script will be used to complete the entire game.
