Hi ^^
Fun game but kinda bit short. Wish they were longer. But what i like the most are the music. Love it. The netplay still doesn't work. Somebody got the netplay working would u share with us the tips.
FYI if u got Error "Data file is broken" , go to Regional and Language settings and change to Japanese.

I'm still getting that cannot find data error...

1) I ran sbapplocal.exe
2) I ran alibat.bat but get the can't find data
3) I ran alibat.exe, same error occurs... (can't find data)

they are all in the same folder... I suspect the cmd promp for bat file does not read the data file... for some reason hmm...

me too
its not "data file broken" but "can't find data" at the start up even with batch file. my windows are already set to jp, all of it. And still encounter that dreaded message. any solution?

Hi ^^
That strange because i dont need to do all that. Ok, here how i install ALiBAT:

1) Firstly u need AppLocale. The ALiBAT torrent is in .rar format, so extract the completed torrent to a folder. Then run AppLocale. Click browse, then go to where u extract the file. Click and follow the picture below :

2) Choose the language. Japanese is the last one:

3) Click next and then click Finish:

4) Click Install to begin instalation :

5) Click browse if u want to change where u want to install the game. Then click next and wait till installation is complete.

6) Then u need to copy the patch. Its in the folder where u extract the file:

7) Change your regional & language to Japanese :

8) Run the program :

Have u installed the East Asian languages in the Regional and Language Options. Here is the pic to show you where it is :

BTW u need a copy of WindowsXP to install it.

It's weird because I've been able to install other JP games without much problem before.

I'm wondering if I'm missing some files in the RAR?

Um... gomen but, I tried everything everyone said and everytime I try to start the game, it says Error; Can't find data. Can someone please help me? I've been trying so hard... T-T

Yo people I am here to say that I have the same problem about the game and I have something to ask for:

1 - I downloaded a zip file where inside there was the folder with the game already!!!!!
2 - They say I have to run a bat file to make the game run!!!
3 - And then the message "Can't find data" appears!!!!
4 - Maybe this happens because I didn't installed the game in my PC, could this be possible???
5 - I make all the possible solutions ever:
a - installed the AppLocale and try to make the bat file run with Japanese
b - installed the Japanese Fonts on my PC
c - changed the Regional Settings to Japanese and changed the Language for non-unicode programs to Japanese too

Now it is missing trying to install the game the way it says here and do everything that says in there!!!!!
I don't need a Japanese OS to make it run do I?
