General Information

Ikkitousen (一騎当千) literally means "Lone Rider with the strength of a thousand." The series is loosely based off Romance of the Three Kingdoms story. The cast (mostly girls) are the reincarnations of the Chinese warrior/general/strategist counter-parts that fought during the Three Kingdoms Era. The anime series are based off the on going manga written and drawn by Yuji Shiozaki(manga is called Battle Vixens in North American). However the animes are directed by different directors, who have made it loosely based off the manga. Although Ikkitousen presents itself as an fighting action series, fan service has always been their top priority. All fans know this. So don't a make post stating the obvious.

Ikkitousen currently has three seasons (12-13 eps each), an ongoing manga published in Comic Gum (with 14 volumes so far), 2 games and a ton of PVC statues and model Kits(over 100!). So is Ikkitousen dragon destiny sequel to Ikkitousen? Or is this a re-make of Ikkitousen.

It's a sequel, and yea im just watching it for the fanservice. But i've been reading the manga and the story does get a hell of a lot better trust me, I no it surprised me to lol.
