Is there something wrong with my computer? The enemies don't appear on screen, not even bosses and it gets really annoying cause I keep running into them while trying to get points.

I'm having a lot of trouble with this...Besides the fact I don't understand the the characters on the website at all, the files aren't working. For example, the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.rar opens a new tab on the Internet and tries to download a second Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.rar. Also, I try to download what I believe is the trial version, but it says that Windows can't run it because it can't find the program that created it when I try to open. I'm so confused on what to do. ;~; I really want to try to play this...
